The resin color is dark, so no repainting needed. It's not difficult but you need rinse over and over to get the water clear. Will most likely buy more in the future. Honestly it's a good idea to have some glue on hand anyways. Truly something unique that will appeal to any aquarist. It's not difficult but you need rinse over and over to get the water clear. Great seller, great product, great price! I love the stones, but yes, barely enough to cover a corner of my aquarium. Originally I set up a waterfall with them, but decided to fill the tank all the way. Hope this helps anyone that was wondering how we got our rocks so dark.

Got this for my betta fish, he LOVES it. Other fish may not like the ph change. Shipping was very fast and even came early. I thought the price was great for the quantity and quality as well. The only thing that was frustrating was the wait time for the shipping. I wanted real stone instead of the fake stuff at the local box stores. I soaked the rocks for about 20-25 min, took them out and hosed them off really well. I hate negative reviews for awesome items just because the buyer didn't read! I'm always hesitant to buy it online, but this was a good transaction. When I keep it lit for at least an hour, it stays glowing for at least three hours. One bigger chunk and five medium chunks. The bag I received was 17lbs and the rocks were in good condition. I'm always hesitant to buy it online, but this was a good transaction. Since it's 17lbs obviously you're going to get mostly small rocks. But it was definitely not what I expected.
