I ordered this pump to keep the filtered water for my plants aerated. I will be replacing it with a 1375 GPH pump. Great little pump for small aquariums and waterfalls. The amazon Review template asked me about this products'sheerness. The effluent connector exits on the top and is pointed up. I got two of these pumps for a DIY tabletop fountains. At least 50% less than big box store's price.

"Powerful pump."

This runs 15 hrs per day for about 4 months. Ended up removing pump from aquarium after 3 days of relentless noise. It's very quick, and does an excellent job. Absolutely silent, and has 4 little silicone suction cup feet to isolate vibration. No problem at all lifting water as shown in photo. The only reason I couldn't give the pump 5 stars is that it does generate some heat. 5' in max setting but slowed down any higher than that.

BUT IF YOU NEED MORE LIFT JUST USE A SMALLER I. The only reason I couldn't give the pump 5 stars is that it does generate some heat. I wound up buying a less exspensive, simpler one.

"Overall a great pump."

It raised the temperature of my water by about 10°. Well, this is just about the cutest little fountain pump I've ever seen. Saves having to carry buckets of water around. Unfortunately somehow, storing it over last winter, the plug has gone missing. Both from the tank to the bucket, and from the bucket to the tank. Great little pump for small aquariums and waterfalls. Highly recommend to clean the bottom of your tank if you don't have a bottom drain.

It is a definite asset to the outdoor space. This first one was a little taller and worked perfectly. HOSE THE YOU WILL HAVE MORE PREASURE. This pump will mix 30-50 gallons of salt water in about 20-30 minutes. I did need to run it flat out on volume for my fountain at that height. Enough power for two tubes, good water flow. I am very pleased after a week of it running constantly. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a tube. Came with a couple basic attachments. Saves having to carry buckets of water around. This pump is perfect for the small fountain and provides the sound of water flowing. That was barely within the pump's capability. Use a T at the suction top with a threaded plug to prime at startup.

Any pump will clog unless the fountain is kept clean. The water refill only takes a couple minutes. Best emergency replacent I've bought for my 75gallon reef tank! These are bags you put carbon in for filters. Great for mixing my saltwater and transfer to my display tank 30 feet away. There was still to much water flow. It's powerful but quiet which I love.
