"Very quiet and powerful."

I have 3 of them on different surfaces. I have the pump hooked up to a large sponge. The current from the circle is so strong circulation is not a issue! Buzzing, humming, vibrating- they were driving me nuts! Larger tank owners won't have my issues. I just cleaned my 20 tank for the first time in, well too long. I was going to buy 3 small air pumps to power 9 sponge filters when I saw this pump.

"It pumps PLENTY of air!"

Use large Air Stone Bars for giant columns of air bubbles. I have the pump hooked up to a large sponge. I did notice that it tends to run very loudly and hot. I'd say this pump would be loud if it were used in the same room as you. Not to mention tank depth, etc becomes a factor. I put a nice little fan next to mine and it now runs much cooler! My 20H tank is in my office, 3 feet away from my desk.

"This pump is VERY quiet!"

I didn't think I’d be impressed by an air pump but I’m pleasantly surprised. You'd think this thing would stop working, but it didn’t! It still works internally, but no air. I have the pump hooked up to a large sponge. This thing has plenty of power for my needs. All the reviews from all the different models are lumped together. So I run two of these with gang valves on my 55 gallon tall living room tank.

"Hygger never disappoints!"

It is quiet and powerful and doesn't get hot. They don't even vibrate the old school plastic tank hanger mounts they sit on. I figured it would give me enough air to power 4 or 5. I have it running 8 different sponge filters at high rate! Not to mention tank depth, etc becomes a factor. Works well in my 75 gal tank running a 36 inch bubble stick! The motor was working but air was not moving. I have it running on 55g with 2 sponge filters for my Axolotl tank. Ordered this air pump to replace one of my other pumps and the difference is amazing. So I completely disassembled the sponge holder.

Seems very well built, does as advertised. I'll definitely get a few more for my other tanks. Overall seems like a good air pump. I was wrong it has enough power to run all 9 with air to spare. I like these, great deal for the price. Push once for On and hold down for 5 seconds for off. They don't even vibrate the old school plastic tank hanger mounts they sit on.

The pressure isn't as great as I hoped. Seems very well built, does as advertised. The pump is so powerful that it pushed off the connection tube several times. Ordered this air pump to replace one of my other pumps and the difference is amazing. I use them in my Tilapia tanks and Koi pond. It's the second one of this model I’ve owned. I have been in the hobby for 20+ years and this is the best air pump!

I have 3 of them on different surfaces. Seems very well built, does as advertised. But if it's in another room, it’s not bad at all. Yes it obviously makes some noise-but not at all as much as I was anticipating. Colbert, the reviewer above, for explaining how to do this. I have this in our small aquarium with an LED bubble stone. I started to write a poor review of the pump.

However Once you plug it to the Oxy tubes it is Silent! They generate a TON of air and last a long long time. Sometimes stopping all together if the water is full. I added a check valve to my airline tubing and works as expected. It has two places to hook up tubing to. It is quiet and powerful and doesn't get hot. Kudo to them for backing up their product.
