"I DID soak the stones."

I was going to buy 3 small air pumps to power 9 sponge filters when I saw this pump. Buzzing, humming, vibrating- they were driving me nuts! Yes it obviously makes some noise-but not at all as much as I was anticipating. This seems to be a good little pump that really puts out some air! We can hear the tank bubbles, but nothing noisy from the pumps at all. I guarantee the fan will help it's shelf life. I own Whisper 10, 150, 300, Eheim 400, and Fusion 700.

It makes the perfect size bubbles and the fish love it. Save some money by not having to replace your air pumps every year! I have to unplug it every time I want to shut it off. Just bought and started using it a few days ago. The company made it right and took care of me. This thing has plenty of power for my needs. If it craps out anytime soon, I'll update the review.

I just cleaned my 20 tank for the first time in, well too long. I have this in our small aquarium with an LED bubble stone. I hung it so its not touching anything. Almost all people will be highly satisfied with this unit. I really am impressed with this air pump! It has one air outlet so i used a spliter& ran a tube to each end of bubbler. I have to unplug it every time I want to shut it off. Colbert, the reviewer above, for explaining how to do this. Before the fan, it was to hot to even hold! I use them in my Tilapia tanks and Koi pond.

It is quiet and powerful and doesn't get hot. They don't even vibrate the old school plastic tank hanger mounts they sit on. I figured it would give me enough air to power 4 or 5. Overall seems like a good air pump. This seems to be a good little pump that really puts out some air! I just cleaned my 20 tank for the first time in, well too long. I keep the pump and air valves in the box to lessen the noise. Use large Air Stone Bars for giant columns of air bubbles. We can hear the tank bubbles, but nothing noisy from the pumps at all. My first one may have been a lemon.

And there are fixes around all of it. I put a wire tie Tightly over the tube and barbs and it's perfect. If that is true-then no wonder this is pretty quiet! This is actually the second one I have purchased. It just sounds like a large freezer. Adjustable air flow settings which is new to me on a air pump but very convenient. The reviews sold me on this product but I was still skeptical​.

This pump cost a bit more than the small quite ones but is way more powerful. If you leave one open, it makes noise. Danner, Fusion, Eheim are adjustable.
