"Hygger never disappoints!"Larger tank owners won't have my issues. I put a nice little fan next to mine and it now runs much cooler! For a solid working, quiet pump, this is about as good as it gets. Kudo to them for backing up their product. After nearly 5 months of use, it stop pumping air. It makes the perfect size bubbles and the fish love it. Buzzing, humming, vibrating- they were driving me nuts!

"I couldn't be happier!"I have it running 8 different sponge filters at high rate! The pump works very well in my 75G tank. I set up 2 more and still all the control valve are not open 100%. I'm not going to knock the product for my own paranoia though. It pumps out enough air to keep millions of air bubbles going in this 200g+ Aquarium! Its been on 24 hours a day for about 5 days. Great Product, BUT, its noisy and vibrates like mad on its rubber feet.

"It is extremely quiet."I'm not going to knock the product for my own paranoia though. And check the filter often, at least every two- 3 weeks. I had the Whisper models and they were way too high in emissions. The stone is very heavy, so it is easy to position and stays put where you want it. I have this in our small aquarium with an LED bubble stone. After 3 weeks, I received a new one in the mail. This is actually the second one I have purchased.

"A little noisy."I own Whisper 10, 150, 300, Eheim 400, and Fusion 700. Not to mention tank depth, etc becomes a factor. For a solid working, quiet pump, this is about as good as it gets. Make sure the hose is connected well. Highly recommend if you desire HIGH air output on several tubing lines! I had to use valves to reduce the output. Sometimes stopping all together if the water is full.

"This is the 40."The added tubing and manifold make this an even better value. I was wrong it has enough power to run all 9 with air to spare. I got the bigger size because I used it in my 450 gallon tank and it's perfect. Colbert, the reviewer above, for explaining how to do this. This happened to me with this unit. This air pump is quiet and well worth the price the listing is going for. I have to put my head behind the tank to hear it!

"Super quiet and powerful."I use this on a 5-way valve for a 75 gallon tank. The pressure isn't as great as I hoped. I have an undergravel filter and a few other accessories that push air too. If that is true-then no wonder this is pretty quiet! I added a check valve to my airline tubing and works as expected. However Once you plug it to the Oxy tubes it is Silent! Kudo to them for backing up their product.

"Great product."It has two places to hook up tubing to. Push once for On and hold down for 5 seconds for off. I'd say this pump would be loud if it were used in the same room as you. I had the Whisper models and they were way too high in emissions. Larger tank owners won't have my issues. Considering the warranty and performance, I upgraded my rating by 2 stars. Pay a bit more but the quality is worth it.

"Its pretty quiet."The new unit works fine as a secondary air pump in a 75 gallon fresh water aquarium. 5 Watts, Fusion 700 rated at 6 watts,Whisper 300 rated at 7. Considering the warranty and performance, I upgraded my rating by 2 stars. Apparently the dome shape plays a significant role in noise reduction. You MUST use a fan with this pump or it will def burn out or lose pressure. This thing has plenty of power for my needs. Once, the water in this tank backflowed into the unit.

"As far as noise."I have this in our small aquarium with an LED bubble stone. I have one running to sponge filters in a tank and it pushing a nice air flow. We can hear the tank bubbles, but nothing noisy from the pumps at all. Pay a bit more but the quality is worth it. I put a wire tie Tightly over the tube and barbs and it's perfect. Before the fan, it was to hot to even hold! I put a wire tie Tightly over the tube and barbs and it's perfect.
