"Super quiet and powerful."Though the 18W model isn't so loud that it can only be used outside. Push once for On and hold down for 5 seconds for off. 5 Watts, Fusion 700 rated at 6 watts,Whisper 300 rated at 7. The stone is very heavy, so it is easy to position and stays put where you want it. I have this in our small aquarium with an LED bubble stone. Provides proper wattage for all my accessories. It could easily run a small fish room.

"Odd, but great."I have one running to sponge filters in a tank and it pushing a nice air flow. It is quiet and powerful and doesn't get hot. They don't even vibrate the old school plastic tank hanger mounts they sit on. Super quiet, lots of power and looks super sleek. I cleaned the sponge and hooked it all back up, hardly any air was coming out. It has two places to hook up tubing to. The new unit works fine as a secondary air pump in a 75 gallon fresh water aquarium.

"The bubbles are amazing!"It didn't blow air out that line, while it still had a little water in the unit! For the money, this air pump cannot be beat. The first lasted about two years when one side decided to put out less air. I added a check valve to my airline tubing and works as expected. After nearly 5 months of use, it stop pumping air. Use large Air Stone Bars for giant columns of air bubbles. I started to write a poor review of the pump.

"Lol I'm so glad I did."It just sounds like a large freezer. I currently have it in a closet to grow aquatic plants and brine shrimp. I was currently using 2 Whispers and they were anything but whispering. The first lasted about two years when one side decided to put out less air. After nearly 5 months of use, it stop pumping air. I have two of these running in my kitchen and my living room is right next to it. Considering the warranty and performance, I upgraded my rating by 2 stars.

"Unit is quiter now."This is the second pump I have bought in the series. It has two places to hook up tubing to. My first one may have been a lemon. I have the pump hooked up to a large sponge. It could easily run a small fish room. I had the Whisper models and they were way too high in emissions. After 3 weeks, I received a new one in the mail.

"Hygger never disappoints!"It still works internally, but no air. I'm not going to knock the product for my own paranoia though. I use this on a 5-way valve for a 75 gallon tank. Save some money by not having to replace your air pumps every year! I figured it would give me enough air to power 4 or 5. Larger tank owners won't have my issues. It still works internally, but no air.

Colbert, the reviewer above, for explaining how to do this. I put a wire tie Tightly over the tube and barbs and it's perfect. I set up 2 more and still all the control valve are not open 100%. But this one has no noticeable sounds. If it craps out anytime soon, I'll update the review.

"If you are a pond owner."This is actually the second one I have purchased. The company made it right and took care of me. Don't be startled if you test it without oxygen tubes, It is Very noisy! I have two of these running in my kitchen and my living room is right next to it. If it craps out anytime soon, I'll update the review. I knew I had to try something else. And there are fixes around all of it.

"Great product."Sometimes stopping all together if the water is full. I found calcium deposits were clogging the bottom where the air was supposed to exit. I had the Whisper models and they were way too high in emissions. Kudo to them for backing up their product. I keep the pump and air valves in the box to lessen the noise. For now, I'd say I would gladly buy another. Just bought and started using it a few days ago.

"Definitely reccomend!"I own Whisper 10, 150, 300, Eheim 400, and Fusion 700. Once, the water in this tank backflowed into the unit. After 3 weeks, I received a new one in the mail. Considering the warranty and performance, I upgraded my rating by 2 stars. Overall seems like a good air pump. I'm sure it would run a much larger bubble stick also. I have 3 of them on different surfaces.

Apparently the dome shape plays a significant role in noise reduction. Hardly noticeable that it is running for an aquarium air pump. I set up 2 more and still all the control valve are not open 100%. I own Whisper 10, 150, 300, Eheim 400, and Fusion 700.

"I love this air pump!"Just bought and started using it a few days ago. I had to use valves to reduce the output. Once, the water in this tank backflowed into the unit. Not to mention tank depth, etc becomes a factor. A simple piece of foam under the unit solved that. It still works internally, but no air. The rubber feet dampen most anything that the sealed pump doesn't cover.

"Now close to the glass."The air being pumped out can be quite warm as well. Kudo to them for backing up their product. For the money, this air pump cannot be beat. I had to use valves to reduce the output. But if it's in another room, it’s not bad at all. We can hear the tank bubbles, but nothing noisy from the pumps at all. It could easily run a small fish room.

"Great air pump."One of the best pump design I've own. I put a nice little fan next to mine and it now runs much cooler! The current from the circle is so strong circulation is not a issue! "Value for money."It makes the perfect size bubbles and the fish love it. Apparently the dome shape plays a significant role in noise reduction. This is the second pump I have bought in the series. I cleaned the sponge and hooked it all back up, hardly any air was coming out. I was currently using 2 Whispers and they were anything but whispering. The pressure isn't as great as I hoped. It really is pretty quiet- once you unclog the air pathway.

"Good air flow."I have the pump hooked up to a large sponge. Larger tank owners won't have my issues. It has one air outlet so i used a spliter& ran a tube to each end of bubbler. So I run two of these with gang valves on my 55 gallon tall living room tank. Pump is basically silent when both airlines are attached. I use them in my Tilapia tanks and Koi pond. This thing has plenty of power for my needs.
