"I will say this was 2-2."I found the key to keeping the algae under control is to clean the glass regularly. If they had an extension that'd be nice. If you are too close to the top water will splash. This aquarium scraper is so much better than the old one. This set really save me lots of time when I clean my aquarium. This works significantly better than any handheld scraper I've ever owned. It is quite sturdy and made of stainless steel so it should last a long time.

"Would buy again."This scrapper will trap some of it making it easier to get out of the tank. The only issue is there is no blade cover provided for storage. The hole in some attachments must be a little bigger on some than others. Add in a gravel vac and you'd basically have a complete cleaning kit. But for the price I paid, I don't mind water running down my arm one bit. 5 gallon fluval EVO tank running a saltwater set up. There are two minor drawbacks to using this tool to scrape algae though.

"Works very well."This scraper is for an acrylic aquarium. The head of the scrapper has no sharp or hard edges to scratch the glass. Happy with the set and all the different interchangeable attachments. If you think this review was helpful, please don't forget to vote. I have used it a lot and really like it. A little more tomorrow and the next day and almost all the algae will be gone. It literally took me 5 mins to scrape my 55 gal.

"Worth its weight in gold!"Works way better than the Mag-Float I was using. My only gripe is that the blade is not replaceable. I have two aquariums, a 49 gallon tank and a 10 gallon tank. But for the price I paid, I don't mind water running down my arm one bit. When this one wears out, I will replace it with the same brand. If you have an aquarium with algae, use razer to clean them off the glass. 5 inch wide razor blade to scrub algae off of the tank.

"I don't use it."I could even clean the back glass by reaching over the top of the tank. It's designed nice, very solid and it's a decent price, what's not to like about it. If they had an extension that'd be nice. There's another tool that I used to help reset the plants. Easy to install the blade, seems to be well made. The magnet is stronger and best of all it finally floats to the surface. The Gravel rake make it so much easier aswell to level out the rock.

"No flimsy garbage."So much better than any other ways I have tried. And i love that the handle is so long, I have a very deep tank. But this simple tool does the job with no chemicals. I've used this tool a couple of times now cleaning the glass on my 125gal tank. The rake came in handy to smooth the gravel after the gravel cleaning. Like the old kids toy dinosaur head that closes mouth by squeezing. I hand no issues with it scratching the glass.

"Waaait for it."I was surprised at how heavy and well built this is. It also works well at knocking off buildup from my decorations without removing them. This scraper is for an acrylic aquarium. Nano magnet is a little weak on 6 mm WaterBox, but still works fine. The pipe cleaner attachment was very helpful in getting inside the UGF. You don't need a lot of force, just patience. If it was half the size and maybe came with two extenders then it would be better.
