Guess how I learned that mistake lol. Keeps my aquarium looking crystal clean. I could even clean the back glass by reaching over the top of the tank. I bought this tool to help maintain my aquarium. The hole in some attachments must be a little bigger on some than others. Interchangeable pads and a water release for the rod. This is a good deal and perfect all in one package for cleaning aquariums.

It comes with a big net, small net and a few other tools so it is worth it. Also love the ability to quickly change tools with snap on head feature! I've used this tool a couple of times now cleaning the glass on my 125gal tank. This works significantly better than any handheld scraper I've ever owned. I still had to soak the hard to reach pieces in 1 part bleach, 5 parts water. It literally took me 5 mins to scrape my 55 gal. I was surprised at how heavy and well built this is.

I ordered different replacement blades to use instead. Like the old kids toy dinosaur head that closes mouth by squeezing. This mini magnet cleaner is really a great deal. The net of this set is a little small for my uses. I have a redsea 170 that is only about 35 gallons. I bought this size algae scrubber because I have a 13. This tool was perfect for cleaning everything up. And 23 inches roughly when its fully retracted. If you wait months, it gets so thick and tough, it's very hard to remove. I'm glad I purchase it as it also comes with a net.

I bought this because I have flowerhorns and they bite. Cuts through built up algea in hard to reach places with no problems! I have a 24 inch deep tank that requires I stand on a chair to get to the top. Add in a gravel vac and you'd basically have a complete cleaning kit. Possibly I could keep the filters in my small tank. Or my white bubbler across the back of my tank without this scraper. I still had to soak the hard to reach pieces in 1 part bleach, 5 parts water.

The razer blade scraping tool is great as well. Just a great set of tools for the price. Happy with the set and all the different interchangeable attachments. I would not have an aquarium without this. I have a fairly deep sand bed in my 90 gallon reef tank. If you hate cleaning and scrubbing your tank this thing is for you. Don't bother with the other brands.

Works way better than the Mag-Float I was using. Overall this was a very good purchase and good investment. And 23 inches roughly when its fully retracted. This scraper is for an acrylic aquarium. My aquarium recently had a bad algae outbreak. The only issue is there is no blade cover provided for storage. You have to squeeze the ends and the cover slides off and the razor blade is exposed.
