"You missed a spot!"This scrapper will trap some of it making it easier to get out of the tank. The head of the scrapper has no sharp or hard edges to scratch the glass. Use them both every day and have zero problems with it. It's also significantly larger so cleaning takes less time. And I don't often say things like that. I would not have an aquarium without this. "Very easy to use."That I haven't seen in any other tool set. This little pad was just what was needed for cleaning up our 2 gallon bowl. This aquarium scraper is so much better than the old one. If it was half the size and maybe came with two extenders then it would be better. Overall this was a very good purchase and good investment. Great product and worth every penny. I know alot of people feel this is junk.

"Does its job."This works significantly better than any handheld scraper I've ever owned. I've been recommending it to all my friends with aquariums. This scrapper will trap some of it making it easier to get out of the tank. There's another tool that I used to help reset the plants. And 23 inches roughly when its fully retracted. It actually made cleaning the glass enjoyable. Add in a gravel vac and you'd basically have a complete cleaning kit.

"I'm not using the blade."I'm glad I purchase it as it also comes with a net. My husband has even tried to remove it. I have used it a lot and really like it. 5 inch wide razor blade to scrub algae off of the tank. Easy to install the blade, seems to be well made. Dont have to get wet, its very long, about 33 inches at maximum extension. I know alot of people feel this is junk.

"A must-have."Extremely happy I made the purchase. It's an easy to use pad that removed algae fairly easily from the acrylic. My aquarium recently had a bad algae outbreak. I have a 55 gallon tank and this does a very good job removing algae from the glass. It's also significantly larger so cleaning takes less time. Also love the ability to quickly change tools with snap on head feature! That piece makes getting the side walls a bit harder.

Overall this was a very good purchase and good investment. The hole in some attachments must be a little bigger on some than others. "Recommended!"I placed it on the rod and cleaned the corners of my tank. My aquarium recently had a bad algae outbreak. So much better than any other ways I have tried. Cuts through built up algea in hard to reach places with no problems! Works way better than the Mag-Float I was using. The only thing i wish was different is that the net was bigger. "Great magnetic strength."This scraper is for an acrylic aquarium. It also works well at knocking off buildup from my decorations without removing them. This is my second purchase of this scraper. It's an easy to use pad that removed algae fairly easily from the acrylic. Like the old kids toy dinosaur head that closes mouth by squeezing. I hand no issues with it scratching the glass. You have to squeeze the ends and the cover slides off and the razor blade is exposed.

"It doesn't float."And when i drain water out i can use this without getting wet. Nano magnet is a little weak on 6 mm WaterBox, but still works fine. I ordered different replacement blades to use instead. This cleaning tool set has been working wonderfully. It's also significantly larger so cleaning takes less time. 5 gallon fluval EVO tank running a saltwater set up. A little more tomorrow and the next day and almost all the algae will be gone.

I have used it a lot and really like it. There are two minor drawbacks to using this tool to scrape algae though. I don't have that worry with this scraper. "Worth its weight in gold!"Works way better than the Mag-Float I was using. My only gripe is that the blade is not replaceable. I have two aquariums, a 49 gallon tank and a 10 gallon tank. But for the price I paid, I don't mind water running down my arm one bit. When this one wears out, I will replace it with the same brand. If you have an aquarium with algae, use razer to clean them off the glass. 5 inch wide razor blade to scrub algae off of the tank.

If they had an extension that'd be nice. There's another tool that I used to help reset the plants. Easy to install the blade, seems to be well made. The magnet is stronger and best of all it finally floats to the surface. The Gravel rake make it so much easier aswell to level out the rock.
