How can a pandemic cause algae you ask. I have no idea how this would hold up to much larger tanks. The angled head of this thing makes all the difference. My only gripe is that the blade is not replaceable. Possibly I could keep the filters in my small tank. If I applied too much pressure, the handle would snap. Great for the price as I was not expecting something extremely heavy duty.

Hope this review helps a few hobbyists out there. I found the key to keeping the algae under control is to clean the glass regularly. It's designed nice, very solid and it's a decent price, what's not to like about it. For stubborn spots, you may need to scrub a bit harder. The pipe cleaner attachment was very helpful in getting inside the UGF. I have 2 of these a Nano flipper for my EVO 13. I have two aquariums, a 49 gallon tank and a 10 gallon tank.

I placed it on the rod and cleaned the corners of my tank. The hole in some attachments must be a little bigger on some than others. That I haven't seen in any other tool set. The only thing i wish was different is that the net was bigger. It works great for my tank, you may want to get a bigger pad for larger tanks. I've used this tool a couple of times now cleaning the glass on my 125gal tank. There's another tool that I used to help reset the plants. Guess how I learned that mistake lol. Like the old kids toy dinosaur head that closes mouth by squeezing. I placed it on the rod and cleaned the corners of my tank. That I haven't seen in any other tool set. Works way better than the Mag-Float I was using. If they had an extension that'd be nice. I've been recommending it to all my friends with aquariums. It's designed nice, very solid and it's a decent price, what's not to like about it.

My smaller aquarium has a back aside that the brush can easily clean. I bought this because I have flowerhorns and they bite. Easy to install the blade, seems to be well made. It is way overkill for that small tank but I get the job done very quick. Works way better than the Mag-Float I was using. I used a scrubber with little result. Nano magnet is a little weak on 6 mm WaterBox, but still works fine.

I know alot of people feel this is junk. Due to the tank being built in, it's very difficult to clean from the back. The first one lasted for several years. The only down side would be that the main section that holds the blade is a bit long. 5 inch wide razor blade to scrub algae off of the tank. Extremely happy I made the purchase. I have a fairly deep sand bed in my 90 gallon reef tank. And when i drain water out i can use this without getting wet. Or my white bubbler across the back of my tank without this scraper. Easy to install the blade, seems to be well made. Nano magnet is a little weak on 6 mm WaterBox, but still works fine. I would have gone to the next size up to get the extra pressure on the inside glass. It literally took me 5 mins to scrape my 55 gal.
