"All you need."It kept coming off and made a mess on the floor. Water changes and cleaning can be a pain we all know. Even straightening this it would just close at this point again. Simple, lightweight design does exactly what it says it will do. It is versatile, as I've used it in a 55 gallon, 35 gallon tank and a 1 gallon tank. I am using this on a bare bottom tank. It did however do a better job than the gravel vac i was using before.

Once put together, I tried it immediately- it was AWESOME! Does not come apart easily like some others I have had. I was able to get behind most of my plants no problem when cleaning the glass. Had a minor issue which their service department addressed immediately. That said, the results were excellent. I also used this LinkinsLegacy cleaner in my kitchen sink. "The thing is huge, too."If this company ever needs a spokesperson I am their man. My puffer attacks the python when I'm cleaning. It will take a few runs to get most of the algae off. If I had to purchase again, I would try the smaller model. Ignore the orang plastic clip that attaches to a bucket. The cleaner is very easy to install, and it is multifunction. Python overkill for that size but it has it's place.

"Best effect."One swipe each way and the glass was, literally sparkling clean. The scrapper will float if detached from the magnet. Definitely not for the common colored gravel found at pet stores. Works really well and is very powerful. No snails or shrimp would stand a chance. I gotta say, this vacuum water cleaner gets the job done. The issue is that the sponge also blocks any debris from entering.

"So worth the money."Suction is amazing and I don't have any issues. Prolly also easier to use with larger hands. I'm really happy I bought one of these. Once you get the tank water flowing out of the tubing. I'm very happy with it, and definitely recommend. I used the plastic one when I tried it today. I have several of these for multiple tank sizes.

"Lesson learned."It knocks out green algae pretty easilly. It got clogged with a small plastic container that got caught in the disposal. Works very well to clean algae from the glass. I liked the idea of this product when I saw it, and decided to take a chance. Definitely not for the common colored gravel found at pet stores. The only reason for the 4 starts instead of 5, no English directions. Prolly also easier to use with larger hands.

"But it's so cumbersome."I did add a hose from an old gravel cleaner to reach my bucket. It siphons the water out of the aquarium very quickly. With this product I was able to do it by myself quickly and easily! Suction is amazing and I don't have any issues. I'd recommend this, but it just takes a little practice. I have to drag it across the tank and it fights me. I bought the XL version for my 75gallon long.
