One bigger chunk and five medium chunks. I love the look and color of this stone. The largest of the remaining pieces was moderate sized and makes for a good Soeishi. Com tell them I sent you for an extra not a damn thing at check out. Love these rocks and you usually get 1 big, 3 Med and the rest small. After playing with them for awhile now. The result is a beautiful black rock with white lines.

Photo 5 is a sample layout for my 45cm tank. For an Iwagumi layout, this would be the Oyaishi. And I just realized they are using them to hide their babies. I'll order this again, but for now I have more than I need! If you see black substrate, that was still waiting for the 2nd bag. The colors of the rocks are beautiful. I use it in my resin art work and it looks fantastic!

My order came with large and small pieces allowing for some good combinations. So I bought these thinking I'd get much bigger pieces. Love this product did not change colors when water ran over it. Great product and it will definitely be buying more. The result is a beautiful black rock with white lines. But it was definitely not what I expected. This isn't even all of them in the photo.

The edges of holes are also sharp, but easy enough to smooth with a razor knife. I was expecting this to be a thicker resin piece. Honestly it's a good idea to have some glue on hand anyways. No I dont work for them and no I dont get anything for saying that. It's simple slate rock but it's natural and really great for my box turtle terrarium. Different shapes and sizes to work with. It took me all day to get them at least somewhat cleaned off.

The only thing that was frustrating was the wait time for the shipping. I wanted real stone instead of the fake stuff at the local box stores. I soaked the rocks for about 20-25 min, took them out and hosed them off really well. I hate negative reviews for awesome items just because the buyer didn't read! These are excellent stones and a great buy for the money! Trying shipping this much heavy stone. Got this for my betta fish, he LOVES it.

I got this for my 10 gal and it fits beautifully! I got several smaller pieces that were about four to five inches wide. And placed in a 36 gallon bowfront. Def need to clean before putting in your tank. There aren't any large enough to fully cover an entire base however. It was well worth time and effort to get them clean. The shapes very interesting and pleasant to look at. I thought the price was great for the quantity and quality as well. They are the perfect little hideaways for them!
