Small World Slate and Stone First Impressions

"HIGHLY recommended."

It's simple slate rock but it's natural and really great for my box turtle terrarium. It's not difficult but you need rinse over and over to get the water clear. I've bought quite a few packs to get the volume I needed. Hope this helps anyone that was wondering how we got our rocks so dark. But it was definitely not what I expected. Would definitely love to repurchase this item. 2 small rocks and 4 medium ones and one large stone.

Absolutely perfect for use in my 20 gallon aquarium. And I had some left over rock, mostly because I use a lot of driftwood and plants. The rocks were REALLY dusty, covers with a lot of clay. Stones were perfect for my 5 gallon planted tank. Will most likely buy more in the future. Got this for my betta fish, he LOVES it. It was plenty for the tank I wanted to scape.

Got this for my betta fish, he LOVES it. Other fish may not like the ph change. Shipping was very fast and even came early. I thought the price was great for the quantity and quality as well. I may have even used too much rock but I love how the scape came out with this rock. Cleaned the dust and clay residue off under running water and some brushing. And placed in a 36 gallon bowfront.

The edges of holes are also sharp, but easy enough to smooth with a razor knife. I was expecting this to be a thicker resin piece. Honestly it's a good idea to have some glue on hand anyways. No I dont work for them and no I dont get anything for saying that. It's simple slate rock but it's natural and really great for my box turtle terrarium. Different shapes and sizes to work with. It took me all day to get them at least somewhat cleaned off.

These glow very brightly and are super light weight. So I bought these thinking I'd get much bigger pieces. I couldn't find these at any of the aquarium stores near me, chain or independent. They arrived in tact and were all the size described. My buddy said he found a better deal on etsy. Worth every penny, my nano looks great. Other fish may not like the ph change. If you are still questioning your purchase please re-read the headline. The bag I received was 17lbs and the rocks were in good condition. We ended up with two custom plants in the end, and a nicer custom rock. My cichlid love hiding under the caves. The only thing that was frustrating was the wait time for the shipping. This isn't even all of them in the photo. When I keep it lit for at least an hour, it stays glowing for at least three hours.

I'll order this again, but for now I have more than I need! These are excellent stones and a great buy for the money! You definitely get a lot of slate for the price. These glow very brightly and are super light weight. When I keep it lit for at least an hour, it stays glowing for at least three hours.
