"Looks great!"Because they are the smart thing to do when you keep aquariums. I have a Top Fin 10 power filter and these cartridges fit perfectly. I end up cutting a small 2x3 inch square for each of my media baskets. I bought these because I was afraid my shrimp were getting sucked up in the filter. I've definitely noticed a difference in my water quality. I also suppose my measuring tape may be off, but I would not think so. I purchase the 8 pack size Large and fits great on my TopFin 40 Gallon Filter.

"They seem to be legit."The filters fit fine and I was happy to see that some carbon packs were included. And provide a few low current areas in the tank for fish who are stressed to rest. If you have a nano tank with filter these would be perfect for that setup. You get what you pay for but i had to work on it a lot. But by two weeks, the output did drop. The material is a soft and not abrasive at all. Plenty strong to support the rocks and gravel in my tank without sagging.

"But they last a while."Fish that are constantly swimming hard will tire and die from stress. If you're looking for new filters, go with these. Fun to modify your filter and clean tank as well. That's a long time if you knew how nasty that many shrimp and minnows can be! Even its quite costly, but it last long. TopFin frame is on the left, Tetra on the right. The concentration of flow will mean faster clogging, lower flow and motor strain.

"Great product."We use this product to the extreme. It made no sense why one was ten and the other was twenty. Never use live rooting plants with UG filters. Cut slightly oversized, it seems very effective as a particulate filter. Does the job and price was less or at least same as big retailers. These have prevented my original problem. We rinse the filters 2x a day and they remain in continuous 24 hour operation.

"ALL I can say is wow."The air stones, plastic tubing, and charcoal were provided which one would expect. I bought these to put over the inlet to the filters in my aquariums. Cut slightly oversized, it seems very effective as a particulate filter. The concentration of flow will mean faster clogging, lower flow and motor strain. Keep your stocking of creatures low. Any floating debri will get caught in a sponge intake on the reverse power head kit. I've definitely noticed a difference in my water quality.

"Easy to handle."Cut slightly oversized, it seems very effective as a particulate filter. I purchase the 8 pack size Large and fits great on my TopFin 40 Gallon Filter. They do feel a little thin but we'll see how they hold up over time. Much better than the cartridges you get when you buy the filters. In 20 gallon and under sized tanks these start becoming feasible primary filters. I purchase the 8 pack size Large and fits great on my TopFin 40 Gallon Filter. "They work very well."Within a matter of hours I now have a crystal clear tank with pristine water. Does the job and price was less or at least same as big retailers. We operate a saltwater bait store, dealing in live shrimp and bull minnows. If you have a nano tank with filter these would be perfect for that setup. I change my filters once a month, so the 12 pack lasts me a year! Don't restrict air-flow around them as they do get quite warm. Still, the price is of course fine at 4 for 6.

"I love it!"The filters fit fine and I was happy to see that some carbon packs were included. I don't advise using a UG filter as the only filtration source in large tanks. In 20 gallon and under sized tanks these start becoming feasible primary filters. Also work great as filler for canisters and other filters. I will be using Koral Filter material from now on. It was nicely packaged and is a high quality filter material. Fish that are constantly swimming hard will tire and die from stress.

"See photo."The measurements are about 9 cm long x 4 cm wide and the hole is about 2 cm. This filter system doesn't come with everything to you need. For obvious reasons, don't put them directly above or below a tank. The filter material itself is good quality material too that doesn't break open. The injection molding for the plastics leave a lot to be desired. Replace prefilter on pump inlet while filter is running. This is a lot of filter pad for your money.

"They do the job well!"I rinsed and reuse same pad again 3 times and trashed later. The first 3 pics are of my RR tank with sump. I missed it in my opinion these filters are a must have. The Tetra Medium bio-bag slip easily on an original Top Fin plastic holder. Customizable in terms of media used. Every tank should have intake sponges. I will update more pictures later, once the water isnt cloudy.

Stop buying those expensive filters, buy this and make your own. I was having a problem with tiny fish getting sucked into the inlets. Because they are the smart thing to do when you keep aquariums. Still, the price is of course fine at 4 for 6. I had a 90 gallon aquarium that I did not use an undergravel filter in.

"48 the decision is easy."In 20 gallon and under sized tanks these start becoming feasible primary filters. Works well for my low flow Aquaclear 20. Even its quite costly, but it last long. I have been buying these bags for years. I replace my filter material in my IM Nuvo 20 reef tank every week. But if you don't weekly vacuum it up, it will eventually clog the filter. Small amounts of these bubbles can also help oxygenate the water over time.

"This is a great product."I purchased this bulk filter media for a Fluval 207 canister filter. It was a struggle to keep the water clear before i got the goldfish. If your looking for a great media pad, stop here and order this! It's a pain in the butt to put together the directions don’t do it that well. I bought these to put over the inlet to the filters in my aquariums. I double the size and fold them and put the bagged carbon between the layers. It works okay for now but I hope it does not mess up my filter in the long run.

"Unbeatable at this price."I have found you really have to scrub the outside to get everything cleaned out. For my smaller fish tank I find that it is just enough. If you have several aquariums, use separate UPS backups. Once you do have everything it's a good running system. I purchase the 8 pack size Large and fits great on my TopFin 40 Gallon Filter. You can also buy solutions that have the bacteria in them to also get started faster. Within a matter of hours I now have a crystal clear tank with pristine water.
