"Easy install."

Replace prefilter on pump inlet while filter is running. Works well for my low flow Aquaclear 20. I double the size and fold them and put the bagged carbon between the layers. Don't get anything smaller than 750VA as you don't want to overload them. The box comes with super easy and clear instructions. In 20 gallon and under sized tanks these start becoming feasible primary filters. I took off two points because the pictures are misleading.

If your looking for a great media pad, stop here and order this! I use this in my filter for aquarium 55 gal. The material is a soft and not abrasive at all. I use this in my filter for aquarium 55 gal. Ignore all the noise about them being outdated they are a must-have buy it. This is great for transporting aquarium life from location to location too. We rinse the filters 2x a day and they remain in continuous 24 hour operation. Cut slightly oversized, it seems very effective as a particulate filter. I use this in my filter for aquarium 55 gal. I changed water 4 days in a row and still cloudy. Lets start with the amount of filter material you get. Better than branded media filters cartridges. Just be careful punching out the plastic.

I bought these to put over the inlet to the filters in my aquariums. Plenty strong to support the rocks and gravel in my tank without sagging. Of course you will need to let the silicone cure before installing in water. The concentration of flow will mean faster clogging, lower flow and motor strain. You can cap off the ones you don't want to use. I have found you really have to scrub the outside to get everything cleaned out. Customizable in terms of media used.

Small amounts of these bubbles can also help oxygenate the water over time. The first 3 pics are of my RR tank with sump. The best part about these in my opinion, is the price. It eventually begins to decompose into ammonia which is harmful to your fish. I will always buy these here on Amazon for the price savings. Customizable in terms of media used. I was having a problem with tiny fish getting sucked into the inlets. I have always had an undergravel filter and my aquariums. Fill with the supplied carbon and voila. It includes 12 mesh filter bags& 12 packets of charcoal. The other tank is an old AIO retro tank I have with a media rack in it. For my smaller fish tank I find that it is just enough. It comes with carbon filters, and air stones.

Make sure to select the Medium size from Tetra. In 20 gallon and under sized tanks these start becoming feasible primary filters. You can run everything on battery backup sockets. I purchased these for an aquarium at school. I will be using Koral Filter material from now on. I bought these because I was afraid my shrimp were getting sucked up in the filter. Make sure to select the Medium size from Tetra.

If you don't know much about this just google it. For my smaller fish tank I find that it is just enough. Fun to modify your filter and clean tank as well. It works okay for now but I hope it does not mess up my filter in the long run. It was easy to assemble and very effective! Why not save some money to put towards more fish or supplies. It includes 12 mesh filter bags& 12 packets of charcoal.

Of course you will need to let the silicone cure before installing in water. I've definitely noticed a difference in my water quality. The more you overpopulate your tank, the more frequently you'll have to do this. I will be using Koral Filter material from now on. If you don't know much about this just google it. Tank is clean and all my new shrimp are still alive! I keep tubes of clear silicone sealer around.

You can run everything on battery backup sockets. I can now afford to change all my filters at a fraction of the cost. They are easy to clean but are very small. The foam is not coarse as illustrated; it's finer and denser. I missed it in my opinion these filters are a must have. But if you don't weekly vacuum it up, it will eventually clog the filter. They do feel a little thin but we'll see how they hold up over time.
