"Good product."It's a pain in the butt to put together the directions don’t do it that well. I have used UG filters for many years. If you don't know much about this just google it. I will update more pictures later, once the water isnt cloudy. It was a struggle to keep the water clear before i got the goldfish. They are easy to clean but are very small. You can cap off the ones you don't want to use.

"Easy to handle."The first piece does get a bit dirty and usually only lasts a week. Ignore all the noise about them being outdated they are a must-have buy it. I will update more pictures later, once the water isnt cloudy. I have a Top Fin 10 power filter and these cartridges fit perfectly. Of course you will need to let the silicone cure before installing in water. Within a matter of hours I now have a crystal clear tank with pristine water. We use this product to the extreme.

But a small simple rubber band fixed the issue quickly. You can also buy solutions that have the bacteria in them to also get started faster. My tank is 12x36 so I utilized 3 of the panels. Ignore all the noise about them being outdated they are a must-have buy it.

"You get what you pay for."So here is the product size on the boxes that isn't included in the description! Plenty strong to support the rocks and gravel in my tank without sagging. We use this product to the extreme. Have been using this product for few month for my planted tank. The best part about these in my opinion, is the price. The first piece does get a bit dirty and usually only lasts a week. If you're looking for new filters, go with these.

"Love this sponge filter."7in, which is only about half the length of the unit. I even used some in my Fluval 206 canister filter on my freshwater tank. Plenty strong to support the rocks and gravel in my tank without sagging. Outside tank on deck with just a few fish. It made no sense why one was ten and the other was twenty. I end up cutting a small 2x3 inch square for each of my media baskets. Why not save some money to put towards more fish or supplies.

"You get what you pay for."I end up cutting a small 2x3 inch square for each of my media baskets. These work great as pre filter sponge on my quiet flow 10. Lets start with the amount of filter material you get. I have always had an undergravel filter and my aquariums. It's a pain in the butt to put together the directions don’t do it that well. For obvious reasons, don't put them directly above or below a tank. For my smaller fish tank I find that it is just enough.

"Worth to give a try."They do feel a little thin but we'll see how they hold up over time. Tank is clean and all my new shrimp are still alive! You can cap off the ones you don't want to use. These have prevented my original problem. It includes 12 mesh filter bags& 12 packets of charcoal. But if you don't weekly vacuum it up, it will eventually clog the filter. If you don't know much about this just google it.

Don't believe people who tell you they are dangerous for your tank. It works okay for now but I hope it does not mess up my filter in the long run. But by two weeks, the output did drop. "They work very well."Within a matter of hours I now have a crystal clear tank with pristine water. Does the job and price was less or at least same as big retailers. We operate a saltwater bait store, dealing in live shrimp and bull minnows. If you have a nano tank with filter these would be perfect for that setup. I change my filters once a month, so the 12 pack lasts me a year! Don't restrict air-flow around them as they do get quite warm. Still, the price is of course fine at 4 for 6.

"I love it!"The filters fit fine and I was happy to see that some carbon packs were included. I don't advise using a UG filter as the only filtration source in large tanks. In 20 gallon and under sized tanks these start becoming feasible primary filters. Also work great as filler for canisters and other filters. I will be using Koral Filter material from now on. It was nicely packaged and is a high quality filter material. Fish that are constantly swimming hard will tire and die from stress.

"You get what you pay for."The first 3 pics are of my RR tank with sump. Any floating debri will get caught in a sponge intake on the reverse power head kit. It was a struggle to keep the water clear before i got the goldfish. The other tank is an old AIO retro tank I have with a media rack in it. The foam is not coarse as illustrated; it's finer and denser. I purchase the 8 pack size Large and fits great on my TopFin 40 Gallon Filter. Fun to modify your filter and clean tank as well.

"I love it!"The air stones, plastic tubing, and charcoal were provided which one would expect. I'm using this pad to HOB filters AC70 bottom and top of it’s sponge. It was exactly what I needed and fit beautifully. Plenty strong to support the rocks and gravel in my tank without sagging. Fill with the supplied carbon and voila. You may notice this brand is lower cost than some others. I was having a problem with tiny fish getting sucked into the inlets.

They do feel a little thin but we'll see how they hold up over time. The box comes with super easy and clear instructions. Stop buying those expensive filters, buy this and make your own. Most plants won't like the highly oxygenated gravel and will die. I double the size and fold them and put the bagged carbon between the layers.

You can cap off the ones you don't want to use.
