"Worth to give a try."These work great as pre filter sponge on my quiet flow 10. Fun to modify your filter and clean tank as well. If you don't know much about this just google it. I missed it in my opinion these filters are a must have. If your looking for a great media pad, stop here and order this! But if you don't weekly vacuum it up, it will eventually clog the filter. "Works great!"I double the size and fold them and put the bagged carbon between the layers. I will update more pictures later, once the water isnt cloudy. Lets start with the amount of filter material you get. It was nicely packaged and is a high quality filter material. Works well for my low flow Aquaclear 20. The first piece does get a bit dirty and usually only lasts a week. And provide a few low current areas in the tank for fish who are stressed to rest.

"I use this on each level."If you don't know much about this just google it. The foam is not coarse as illustrated; it's finer and denser. Particles fall off into the aquarium when you take them off to clean them. Make sure to select the Medium size from Tetra. It was exactly what I needed and fit beautifully. Better than branded media filters cartridges. It includes 12 mesh filter bags& 12 packets of charcoal.

"Nada, zilch, nugga."I have a Top Fin 10 power filter and these cartridges fit perfectly. Does the job and price was less or at least same as big retailers. Ignore all the noise about them being outdated they are a must-have buy it. Also work great as filler for canisters and other filters. But by two weeks, the output did drop. I have a Top Fin 10 power filter and these cartridges fit perfectly. But a small simple rubber band fixed the issue quickly.

"Easy to use repeatedly."Don't restrict air-flow around them as they do get quite warm. If you have several aquariums, use separate UPS backups. This is a lot of filter pad for your money. Have been using this product for few month for my planted tank. It comes with carbon filters, and air stones. That's a long time if you knew how nasty that many shrimp and minnows can be! I have always had an undergravel filter and my aquariums.

"Unbeatable at this price."I took off two points because the pictures are misleading. It includes 12 mesh filter bags& 12 packets of charcoal. Every tank should have intake sponges. Of course you will need to let the silicone cure before installing in water. The first piece does get a bit dirty and usually only lasts a week. That's a long time if you knew how nasty that many shrimp and minnows can be! We operate a saltwater bait store, dealing in live shrimp and bull minnows.

"The hole is smaller."But by two weeks, the output did drop. I also suppose my measuring tape may be off, but I would not think so. Cut slightly oversized, it seems very effective as a particulate filter. You will also need to replace their rechargeable batteries about every 2 years or so. "Without making a mess!"The best part about these in my opinion, is the price. Plenty strong to support the rocks and gravel in my tank without sagging. I rinsed and reuse same pad again 3 times and trashed later. The more you overpopulate your tank, the more frequently you'll have to do this. I have been buying these bags for years. These have prevented my original problem. I missed it in my opinion these filters are a must have.

"I bought the 6ft roll."It's a pain in the butt to put together the directions don’t do it that well. I had to rinse the sponges after about 2. I'm using this pad to HOB filters AC70 bottom and top of it’s sponge. For obvious reasons, don't put them directly above or below a tank. Just be super careful with the tubes! The other tank is an old AIO retro tank I have with a media rack in it. We use this product to the extreme.

I use two layers of floss before the water goes to and through my chemical media. I've definitely noticed a difference in my water quality. Never use live rooting plants with UG filters. "Easy to use repeatedly."Replace prefilter on pump inlet while filter is running. I don't advise using a UG filter as the only filtration source in large tanks. Customizable in terms of media used. I also suppose my measuring tape may be off, but I would not think so. You can cap off the ones you don't want to use. It works okay for now but I hope it does not mess up my filter in the long run. It made no sense why one was ten and the other was twenty. I have a Top Fin 10 power filter and these cartridges fit perfectly. Better than branded media filters cartridges. The air stones, plastic tubing, and charcoal were provided which one would expect. It was nicely packaged and is a high quality filter material.
