"Very easy to do."Also work great as filler for canisters and other filters. Any floating debri will get caught in a sponge intake on the reverse power head kit. If you're looking for new filters, go with these. Right now I am letting the filter work it's magic. I will be using Koral Filter material from now on. We use this product to the extreme. "Good quality."Does the job and price was less or at least same as big retailers. I use this in my filter for aquarium 55 gal. I double the size and fold them and put the bagged carbon between the layers. I bought these to put over the inlet to the filters in my aquariums. I bought these because I was afraid my shrimp were getting sucked up in the filter. I had a 90 gallon aquarium that I did not use an undergravel filter in. It includes 12 mesh filter bags& 12 packets of charcoal.

"I bought the 6ft roll."Fill with the supplied carbon and voila. But if you don't weekly vacuum it up, it will eventually clog the filter. Plenty strong to support the rocks and gravel in my tank without sagging. So here is the product size on the boxes that isn't included in the description! "Love this stuff."Any floating debri will get caught in a sponge intake on the reverse power head kit. The measurements are about 9 cm long x 4 cm wide and the hole is about 2 cm. The filter material itself is good quality material too that doesn't break open. So stock your tanks a few fish at a time. It eventually begins to decompose into ammonia which is harmful to your fish. I took off two points because the pictures are misleading. You can put power heads on the riser tubes to increase the flow through the filter.

"See photo."A great addition to the filtration system. Why not save some money to put towards more fish or supplies. I have a Top Fin 10 power filter and these cartridges fit perfectly. I changed water 4 days in a row and still cloudy. The Tetra Medium bio-bag slip easily on an original Top Fin plastic holder. I use two layers of floss before the water goes to and through my chemical media. Small amounts of these bubbles can also help oxygenate the water over time.

"I couldn't believe it!"In 20 gallon and under sized tanks these start becoming feasible primary filters. I was having a problem with tiny fish getting sucked into the inlets. I have always had an undergravel filter and my aquariums. You get what you pay for but i had to work on it a lot. I keep tubes of clear silicone sealer around. Fun to modify your filter and clean tank as well. I have used UG filters for many years.

"I have 2 tanks."For obvious reasons, don't put them directly above or below a tank. The Tetra Medium bio-bag slip easily on an original Top Fin plastic holder. Don't believe people who tell you they are dangerous for your tank. I even used some in my Fluval 206 canister filter on my freshwater tank. Small amounts of these bubbles can also help oxygenate the water over time. You can cap off the ones you don't want to use. I will keep using these and recommend them to anyone.

"It's worth that price."I had to rinse the sponges after about 2. It was a struggle to keep the water clear before i got the goldfish. I change my filters once a month, so the 12 pack lasts me a year! I also suppose my measuring tape may be off, but I would not think so. I can now afford to change all my filters at a fraction of the cost. Of course you will need to let the silicone cure before installing in water. Once you do have everything it's a good running system.

"Nice sponge filter."I use two layers of floss before the water goes to and through my chemical media. It comes with the filter bag, bag frame, and charcoal media all separate. If you have several aquariums, use separate UPS backups. Once you do have everything it's a good running system. If you have several aquariums, use separate UPS backups. Right now I am letting the filter work it's magic. 7in, which is only about half the length of the unit.

"5 gallon enchant tank."If you have a nano tank with filter these would be perfect for that setup. I had to take a blade and run it through all the slats because the factory doesnt q. It was exactly what I needed and fit beautifully. The material is a soft and not abrasive at all. We rinse the filters 2x a day and they remain in continuous 24 hour operation. These work great as pre filter sponge on my quiet flow 10. I will update more pictures later, once the water isnt cloudy.

Most plants won't like the highly oxygenated gravel and will die. They do feel a little thin but we'll see how they hold up over time. You may notice this brand is lower cost than some others. You can cap off the ones you don't want to use. Customizable in terms of media used.

Replace prefilter on pump inlet while filter is running. Don't shut it off for more than a few minutes at a time. Once you do have everything it's a good running system. It made no sense why one was ten and the other was twenty. It includes 12 mesh filter bags& 12 packets of charcoal.
