This gravel vacuum works very well. The water gets filtered in the chamber and then RETURNED BACK TO THE TANK! Product seems to be well made and should work a long time with reasonable care. Suction is amazing and I don't have any issues. I did have to cut one of the tubes to make it a little shorter but that was easy. With this 12 Volt aquarium cleaner that apprehension is eliminated. I wish i had bought this the first time.

Suction is amazing and I don't have any issues. Its made the water changes on my 55 gallon and 20 tall so easy. In saying this it's nice to not lift those heavy buckets to the top anymore. The telescoping tube will extent to permit a larger tank to be effectively cleaned. Which was why I'm so glad I got this one. I would definitely recommend this product. The costomer service for this company is wonderful.

I would get suction for a few seconds and then it would trickle to nothing. If, like me, you can't get suction going on a low-tech vacuum, get this thing! Python is good too but this is fast, easy and light. Ohh I also use it to add water to my system. I was worried I would have to keep unplugging and plugging in through out cleaning. I also used this LinkinsLegacy cleaner in my kitchen sink. My previous gravel vacuum from Petco was horrible.

I did have to cut one of the tubes to make it a little shorter but that was easy. Wash the sponge out a few times and then add the micro. I would recommend this due to the fantastic job it has provided for my needs. My tank was beyond maintenance work with alot of decay and algae. The filter loads up really fast, so it's not much good for recycling water cleaning. Even straightening this it would just close at this point again. Compared to how I was cleaning before, this made cleaning my tanks a breeze.

Cleaning a tank is the worst part of the fish owning process. I would get suction for a few seconds and then it would trickle to nothing. I gotta say tho that it's really powerful. Ohh I also use it to add water to my system. So I use the NICREW power vac in between water changes and it works great! It siphons the water out of the aquarium very quickly. The last two pictures display the suction cup with its perforated screen inside it.

Even straightening this it would just close at this point again. This electric gravel vac was the best solution for my set up. This one doesn't lose suction, and is easy to use. What I love about this is the water return function. I would definitely recommend this product. The bucket clamp also doesn't work very well. Definitely not for the common colored gravel found at pet stores.

I highly recommend this product for all aquarium keepers. If you've never used a gravel vac, get this product and watch a YouTube video. They more than helped me resolve my situation. Hopefully my replacement works and I can change my review. You fill the chamber with filter substrate. Cleaning a tank is the worst part of the fish owning process. I can't believe a marvelous thing such as this could be so inexpensive!

The hardest thing to do is wrap up the cord to store it after use. Ohh I also use it to add water to my system. Gets under decorations between plants and in corners. I have large fish and large fish make large poop! So I use the NICREW power vac in between water changes and it works great! Connections leak over time so I have to put some silicon joint while I join them. Product arrived really quick and is packaged nicely.

Maybe if another piece was included to attach to the right after the shutoff. The costomer service for this company is wonderful. Python is good too but this is fast, easy and light. I LOVE IT SO MUCH I'm getting another for the fish tank at my Mom's house. Hard for small hands like mine to grasp and use easily. 20 gallon long also means more ADFs!
