"I love this stuff."It comes in a variety of colors, but I prefer the classic white. Worked great for my succulent gardens. Needs more plants but it makes the colors of the fish and other decor really pop. The gravel adds amazing color and the fish and snails seem to like it. Although I had to rinse it about 5 times to fully get ALL of the dust out. Yeah this stuff has to come prerinsed. I envisioned the bag being bigger since I ordered a 50lbs.

"And a great price."Don't even waste your time adding it to your tank. It really makes the tank look sharp and I believe the goldfish likes it, too. I recommend doing it in smaller portions. Using these stones for growing bulbs for church project. It worked really well and still allowed new stems to pop through. Don't use any soaps or anything else. Yeah this stuff has to come prerinsed.

"First of all, the price."I didn't even need the water clarifier, and I found it in the bag. For reference, my tank is a 20 gallon tall tank. Some of the bad feedback says it clouds the water. I think the pink makes my aquarium stand out and gives it a cute little look. Will definitely purchase again when needed. It gives a very natural riverbed look to the aquarium. "Just as described."I wanted white rocks that were vibrant. My Vallisneria and amazon swords grow just fine in this substrate. So if you are looking for bigger size, this is not it. But the gravel itself is nice quality and adds interest to tanks. Just be patient and realize that it's going to take a while to rinse it. One bag was open and had emptied into the box. So far, really happy with how it looks in my small tank.

"Beautiful gravel."I just wanted to post a picture so you can see how much comes in a pack. Water became with film like on top and lots of little bubbles on every surface. It will take you a while to properly clean. At least any visible to the naked eye. The smooth and small pebbles are great for people keeping corycats. Obviously required a lot of rinsing. "Hence the 4 stars."Worked great for my succulent gardens. Really like the coloring of them as well. Don't own a blacklight so can't tell if it glows or not. There's a nice mix of color and gives my little nano tanks a nice earthy feel. Although I had to rinse it about 5 times to fully get ALL of the dust out. "Looks great."Works great in my daughter aquarium. I used this for a small aquarium with 2 goldfish and it worked great! I've been using that for a few months now with my betta. This is perfect for a 2 gallon tank that also has some acrylic gems. Really like the coloring of them as well. It looks great and didn't change anything about the water. "Beautiful gravel."The 50 pound bag was jus barely enough for my 55 gallon tank! I purchased to put into a dry river rock. The color looks beautiful and natural in the tank. So far, really happy with how it looks in my small tank. I did rinse it off before putting it in the aquarium. I'll definitely use this gravel again the next time I start a new tank. "Very nice!"If you have to bury tank decor that doesn't have suction cups then you need more. Don't own a blacklight so can't tell if it glows or not. Just do a proper rinse, and you will be fine. 5 inches of gravel, so you could use more or less depending on tank size. Although I had to rinse it about 5 times to fully get ALL of the dust out. "These are perfect."I also found a DEAD spider in the gravel! Wonderful mixture of color with the black stone. The rocks look great and arrived very quickly. Like everyone else says wash it before putting it in your tank. I rinsed it about 3-4 times and felt satisfied it was good. Just make sure you rinse it out REALLY good, before adding to your aquarium. It gives a very natural riverbed look to the aquarium.

I use a hybrid of the Walstad Method, and this stuff is perfect. There's a nice mix of color and gives my little nano tanks a nice earthy feel. At this point I'm Trying to wash pebbles. "Looks great!"This is my favorite gravel I've bought from Amazon. Not sure why there is so much bad feedback for this. We bought this for a glo fish tank. Just be patient and realize that it's going to take a while to rinse it. There's a nice mix of color and gives my little nano tanks a nice earthy feel. The texture is smooth so cories and burrowing fish will not hurt themselves. This was because of my own preconceived notions and not that of the sellers though.
