"Nice gravel."

This is the real deal mother earth approx. I have bought 2 bags of this gravel. It's a gemstone quality gravel, not the topfin crap from petsmart. Don't even waste your time adding it to your tank. One bag was open and had emptied into the box. I recommend doing it in smaller portions. For my purpose, they work perfectly, for an aquarium, they might need a quick rinse.

I have blue lights and white lights in my tanks. It does need a good washing, and I used a 5 gallon bucket method. Color is good contrast to the Beta. It worked really well and still allowed new stems to pop through. It really makes the tank look sharp and I believe the goldfish likes it, too. So will just see if color stays-God willing! Stir periodically and then your good to go!

I've been using it now for a couple of months and nothing has happened to them. I rinsed it about 3-4 times and felt satisfied it was good. Arrived in 8 sealed plastic bags inside one Priority box. I half rinse it and put it in my tank. I do not own glofish nor a glofish tank. Lovely colors and everything i was looking for! Really just rinsed a little and ready to go.

Water became with film like on top and lots of little bubbles on every surface. I opened the bag, dumped it in a bowl and filled it with water. Yeah this stuff has to come prerinsed. I used this for a small aquarium with 2 goldfish and it worked great! It comes in a variety of colors, but I prefer the classic white. All substraight needs to be thoroughly rinsed before use. Secondly the gravels colour looks enhanced under a bright led light.

"It's just what I wanted."

This was the cheapest DIY project with a big wow factor. It has lovely colors and I will be using ONLY this gravel in the future. The color looks beautiful and natural in the tank. Obviously required a lot of rinsing. I'm accenting with multicolored glass rocks to accent. They are rocks, what more do you need. Really just rinsed a little and ready to go.

I baught a 5 gallon tank and i had to buy 2 packs. A little bigger than what I wanted but I still used it. This was the cheapest DIY project with a big wow factor. This is my favorite gravel I've bought from Amazon. I used this for a path in a 22 gallon aquarium. It really makes the tank look sharp and I believe the goldfish likes it, too. Purchased 9 bags of this for a new 180 gallon aquarium.

So far, really happy with how it looks in my small tank. Don't use any soaps or anything else. This was because of my own preconceived notions and not that of the sellers though. Secondly the gravels colour looks enhanced under a bright led light. Needs more plants but it makes the colors of the fish and other decor really pop. It's my new, absolute favorite substrate. I used these to put on top of soil if my pot plants. We bought this for a glo fish tank. I have a 90 gallon aquarium with a footprint of 18 by 48 inches. The color of the gravel makes the blue in my Tetra's and Gourami's pop. Needs more plants but it makes the colors of the fish and other decor really pop. It really makes the tank look sharp and I believe the goldfish likes it, too.
