"Rocks are expensive."

Water became with film like on top and lots of little bubbles on every surface. I opened the bag, dumped it in a bowl and filled it with water. Yeah this stuff has to come prerinsed. I used this for a small aquarium with 2 goldfish and it worked great! It comes in a variety of colors, but I prefer the classic white. All substraight needs to be thoroughly rinsed before use. Secondly the gravels colour looks enhanced under a bright led light.

"It's what I needed."

Not sure why there is so much bad feedback for this. Plenty of rock for my 5 gal aquarium. Overall I am happy with the gravel. The rock arrived quickly and several days before projected. It's my new, absolute favorite substrate. I am disappointed that there seems to be nothing special about this gravel. It worked really well and still allowed new stems to pop through.

"These are perfect."

Don't even waste your time adding it to your tank. I'm accenting with multicolored glass rocks to accent. I purchased to put into a dry river rock. This is not the colored synthetic aquarium medium. All n all, very happy with the purchase. I'll definitely use this gravel again the next time I start a new tank. Some of the bad feedback says it clouds the water.

We bought this for a glo fish tank. A little bigger than what I wanted but I still used it. I did rinse it off before putting it in the aquarium. This is the real deal mother earth approx. The color looks beautiful and natural in the tank. Although I had to rinse it about 5 times to fully get ALL of the dust out. I would buy again if the price didn't double from last time.

There is some sand and dirt mixed in. Had to move fish out after it nearly died. Snails and fish dont seem to mind the switch from sand. Yeah this stuff has to come prerinsed. I bought two bags for my 55 gallon. The texture is smooth so cories and burrowing fish will not hurt themselves. I used this for a path in a 22 gallon aquarium.

I filled with filter water ad let sit for a day before relocate fish. Out of the bag there is an amazing amount of dust. This was the cheapest DIY project with a big wow factor. I envisioned the bag being bigger since I ordered a 50lbs. For smaller plants, these rocks are a little on the big side. It really makes the tank look sharp and I believe the goldfish likes it, too. Really like the coloring of them as well.

For reference, my tank is a 20 gallon tall tank. I'd recommend but just be wary of debris. Out of the bag there is an amazing amount of dust. Obviously required a lot of rinsing. This gravel works extremely well for planted tanks and for smaller fish species. Obviously required a lot of rinsing. Minimal clouding gone within 12 hours.

It has lovely colors and I will be using ONLY this gravel in the future. This gravel works extremely well for planted tanks and for smaller fish species. Out of the bag there is an amazing amount of dust. These colors combine to give an overall color of light brown.

Aside from the size, the appearance of this gravel is what stands out the most. I used this for a small aquarium with 2 goldfish and it worked great! Works great in my daughter aquarium. I do not own glofish nor a glofish tank. I'm accenting with multicolored glass rocks to accent. The 50 pound bag was jus barely enough for my 55 gallon tank! It looks great and didn't change anything about the water.

I think the pink makes my aquarium stand out and gives it a cute little look. Out of the bag there is an amazing amount of dust. Wonderful mixture of color with the black stone. Colors are exactly as shown on the screen- at least on my monitor. Stir periodically and then your good to go! Wonderful mixture of color with the black stone.
