"Love this blue gravel!"

Wash gravel well before use, and its pretty good. The rocks are REALLY dirty, and contain random debris. I do not own glofish nor a glofish tank. I opened the bag, dumped it in a bowl and filled it with water. It does need a good washing, and I used a 5 gallon bucket method. 5 inches of gravel, so you could use more or less depending on tank size. The little package of clarifier included is not nearly enough.

I envisioned the bag being bigger since I ordered a 50lbs. The rocks are REALLY dirty, and contain random debris. I didn't even need the water clarifier, and I found it in the bag. Wonderful mixture of color with the black stone. The texture is smooth so cories and burrowing fish will not hurt themselves. There's a nice mix of color and gives my little nano tanks a nice earthy feel. I envisioned the bag being bigger since I ordered a 50lbs.

I use a hybrid of the Walstad Method, and this stuff is perfect. There is some sand and dirt mixed in. Unlike most, I didn't purchase this gravel for its ability to glow. It gives a very natural riverbed look to the aquarium. The color of the gravel makes the blue in my Tetra's and Gourami's pop. But the gravel itself is nice quality and adds interest to tanks. I planned on spending 24-48 hours removing all the dust in washes and soaks.

I also found a DEAD spider in the gravel! Wonderful mixture of color with the black stone. The rocks look great and arrived very quickly. Like everyone else says wash it before putting it in your tank. I rinsed it about 3-4 times and felt satisfied it was good. Just make sure you rinse it out REALLY good, before adding to your aquarium. It gives a very natural riverbed look to the aquarium.

I filled with filter water ad let sit for a day before relocate fish. Not sure why there is so much bad feedback for this. A little bigger than what I wanted but I still used it. Removed pebbles and refilled for the 3rd time. I am disappointed that there seems to be nothing special about this gravel. Perfect for the corydoras, pleasing to the eye. For smaller plants, these rocks are a little on the big side. I WOULD recommend buying this item! This is perfect for a 2 gallon tank that also has some acrylic gems. It really makes the tank look sharp and I believe the goldfish likes it, too. If you have to bury tank decor that doesn't have suction cups then you need more. I rinsed it before I put it in the tank. Works great in my daughter aquarium.

Wash gravel well before use, and its pretty good. It looks great and didn't change anything about the water. I was scared to buy it after the reviews I read about it killing their fish. Don't even hesitate on purchasing this stuff. This is the real deal mother earth approx. The glow is pretty minimal but it still looks nice. Water became with film like on top and lots of little bubbles on every surface.

Using these stones for growing bulbs for church project. It gives a very natural riverbed look to the aquarium. Stir periodically and then your good to go! This is not the colored synthetic aquarium medium. I use a hybrid of the Walstad Method, and this stuff is perfect. It's a gemstone quality gravel, not the topfin crap from petsmart. For smaller plants, these rocks are a little on the big side.

Although I had to rinse it about 5 times to fully get ALL of the dust out. I decided on this particular brand of gravel because of Amazon's add-on program. The smooth and small pebbles are great for people keeping corycats. So will just see if color stays-God willing! This is not the colored synthetic aquarium medium. I am disappointed that there seems to be nothing special about this gravel. It's my new, absolute favorite substrate. Lovely colors and everything i was looking for! Not sure why there is so much bad feedback for this. I'd recommend but just be wary of debris. I actually used this on the top of my potted plants to keep gnats away. I included a picture which doesn't do the product justice.
