"Love this blue gravel!"Wash gravel well before use, and its pretty good. The rocks are REALLY dirty, and contain random debris. I do not own glofish nor a glofish tank. I opened the bag, dumped it in a bowl and filled it with water. It does need a good washing, and I used a 5 gallon bucket method. 5 inches of gravel, so you could use more or less depending on tank size. The little package of clarifier included is not nearly enough.

"Be prepared!"Water became with film like on top and lots of little bubbles on every surface. Wash gravel well before use, and its pretty good. It's a gemstone quality gravel, not the topfin crap from petsmart. I also found a DEAD spider in the gravel! I rinsed it before I put it in the tank. I WOULD recommend buying this item! "Nice gravel."This is the real deal mother earth approx. I have bought 2 bags of this gravel. It's a gemstone quality gravel, not the topfin crap from petsmart. Don't even waste your time adding it to your tank. One bag was open and had emptied into the box. I recommend doing it in smaller portions. For my purpose, they work perfectly, for an aquarium, they might need a quick rinse.

"A few minutes."I use a hybrid of the Walstad Method, and this stuff is perfect. Fast delivery and item true to description. I WOULD recommend buying this item! The glow is pretty minimal but it still looks nice. The smooth and small pebbles are great for people keeping corycats. This is perfect for a 2 gallon tank that also has some acrylic gems. I actually used this on the top of my potted plants to keep gnats away.

"That's all I can say."I think the pink makes my aquarium stand out and gives it a cute little look. I decided on this particular brand of gravel because of Amazon's add-on program. It worked really well and still allowed new stems to pop through. The color mixture with the darker colors in it does that very well. The glow is pretty minimal but it still looks nice. It really makes the tank look sharp and I believe the goldfish likes it, too. So far, really happy with how it looks in my small tank.

"I do not like fish."For reference, my tank is a 20 gallon tall tank. Minimal clouding gone within 12 hours. I'd recommend but just be wary of debris. I've ordered their midnight pearl color and it is beautiful too. They served their purpose, but had to be the dirtiest rocks I have ordered. I planned on spending 24-48 hours removing all the dust in washes and soaks. Don't use any soaps or anything else.

"Just as described."For smaller plants, these rocks are a little on the big side. I WOULD recommend buying this item! This is perfect for a 2 gallon tank that also has some acrylic gems. It really makes the tank look sharp and I believe the goldfish likes it, too. If you have to bury tank decor that doesn't have suction cups then you need more. I rinsed it before I put it in the tank. Works great in my daughter aquarium.

"Love this blue gravel!"I included a picture which doesn't do the product justice. The 50 pound bag was jus barely enough for my 55 gallon tank! I bought two bags for my 55 gallon. Perfect for the corydoras, pleasing to the eye. The smooth and small pebbles are great for people keeping corycats. I'll definitely use this gravel again the next time I start a new tank. At least any visible to the naked eye.

"I love this stuff."This was the cheapest DIY project with a big wow factor. I purchased to put into a dry river rock. Snails and fish dont seem to mind the switch from sand. It's a gemstone quality gravel, not the topfin crap from petsmart. We bought this for a glo fish tank. The gravel adds amazing color and the fish and snails seem to like it. Needs more plants but it makes the colors of the fish and other decor really pop.

"The color is very pretty."So if you are looking for bigger size, this is not it. I bought a few bags of this and it's nice. The rocks look great and arrived very quickly. I am disappointed that there seems to be nothing special about this gravel. I did rinse it off before putting it in the aquarium. Just make sure you rinse it out REALLY good, before adding to your aquarium. Purchased 9 bags of this for a new 180 gallon aquarium.

"But it was horrible."I use a hybrid of the Walstad Method, and this stuff is perfect. There is some sand and dirt mixed in. Unlike most, I didn't purchase this gravel for its ability to glow. It gives a very natural riverbed look to the aquarium. The color of the gravel makes the blue in my Tetra's and Gourami's pop. But the gravel itself is nice quality and adds interest to tanks.
