The color of the gravel makes the blue in my Tetra's and Gourami's pop. I baught a 5 gallon tank and i had to buy 2 packs. Wonderful mixture of color with the black stone. I just wanted to post a picture so you can see how much comes in a pack. Plenty of rock for my 5 gal aquarium. I used this for a small aquarium with 2 goldfish and it worked great! The pebbles are a perfect size for 30+ gallon tanks.

"Beautiful gravel."

Just do a proper rinse, and you will be fine. I wash it in small batches in a five gallon bucket before putting it in the tank. This gravel works extremely well for planted tanks and for smaller fish species. It's my new, absolute favorite substrate. The color of the gravel makes the blue in my Tetra's and Gourami's pop. I rinsed it about 3-4 times and felt satisfied it was good. It does need a good washing, and I used a 5 gallon bucket method.

"Just as described."

For smaller plants, these rocks are a little on the big side. I WOULD recommend buying this item! This is perfect for a 2 gallon tank that also has some acrylic gems. It really makes the tank look sharp and I believe the goldfish likes it, too. If you have to bury tank decor that doesn't have suction cups then you need more. I rinsed it before I put it in the tank. Works great in my daughter aquarium.

Wash gravel well before use, and its pretty good. Really like the coloring of them as well. Very random shapes and colors that blend well. I baught a 5 gallon tank and i had to buy 2 packs. "Worked out great for me."

Love the vibrant neon colors mixed in with the black gravel. I am disappointed that there seems to be nothing special about this gravel. I'd recommend but just be wary of debris. I wished I would have bought a few more so It would be deeper in my tank. I purchased to put into a dry river rock. Really just rinsed a little and ready to go. They served their purpose, but had to be the dirtiest rocks I have ordered.

"One for my 2."

Unlike most, I didn't purchase this gravel for its ability to glow. I purchased to put into a dry river rock. Originally I bought the black with colored stones for my 5 gallon tank. All n all, very happy with the purchase. I wanted white rocks that were vibrant. The rocks are REALLY dirty, and contain random debris. I use a hybrid of the Walstad Method, and this stuff is perfect.

"No more gnats."

Don't even waste your time adding it to your tank. Bigger than normal aquarium gravel, nice colors, good quality, no smell. Don't use any soaps or anything else. Arrived in 8 sealed plastic bags inside one Priority box. So far, really happy with how it looks in my small tank. The color mixture with the darker colors in it does that very well. The color looks beautiful and natural in the tank.

"It's just what I wanted."

This was the cheapest DIY project with a big wow factor. I did rinse it off before putting it in the aquarium. For smaller plants, these rocks are a little on the big side. This is the real deal mother earth approx. Snails and fish dont seem to mind the switch from sand. I've been using that for a few months now with my betta. Secondly the gravels colour looks enhanced under a bright led light.
