"I haven't used this yet."

Wash gravel well before use, and its pretty good. It looks great and didn't change anything about the water. I was scared to buy it after the reviews I read about it killing their fish. Don't even hesitate on purchasing this stuff. This is the real deal mother earth approx. The glow is pretty minimal but it still looks nice. Water became with film like on top and lots of little bubbles on every surface.

"Ideal for my tank."

I bought two bags for my 55 gallon. Stir periodically and then your good to go! Works great in my daughter aquarium. It gives a very natural riverbed look to the aquarium. There's a nice mix of color and gives my little nano tanks a nice earthy feel. It really makes the tank look sharp and I believe the goldfish likes it, too. One bag was open and had emptied into the box.

"I recommend!"

I used these to put on top of soil if my pot plants. Just make sure you rinse it out REALLY good, before adding to your aquarium. They served their purpose, but had to be the dirtiest rocks I have ordered. Stir periodically and then your good to go! I filled with filter water ad let sit for a day before relocate fish. They served their purpose, but had to be the dirtiest rocks I have ordered. I bought a few bags of this and it's nice.

"It's what I needed."

The little package of clarifier included is not nearly enough. The rocks look great and arrived very quickly. I half rinse it and put it in my tank. This is perfect for a 2 gallon tank that also has some acrylic gems. I rinsed it about 3-4 times and felt satisfied it was good. I use a hybrid of the Walstad Method, and this stuff is perfect. Snails and fish dont seem to mind the switch from sand.

"I do not like fish."

It looks great and didn't change anything about the water. Very random shapes and colors that blend well. Works great in my daughter aquarium. I've been using it now for a couple of months and nothing has happened to them. I have a 90 gallon aquarium with a footprint of 18 by 48 inches. So far, really happy with how it looks in my small tank. I would buy again if the price didn't double from last time.

But the gravel itself is nice quality and adds interest to tanks. Stir periodically and then your good to go! I rinsed it before I put it in the tank. I baught a 5 gallon tank and i had to buy 2 packs. I've ordered their midnight pearl color and it is beautiful too. I'll definitely use this gravel again the next time I start a new tank. "Great quality."

There's a nice mix of color and gives my little nano tanks a nice earthy feel. I'll definitely use this gravel again the next time I start a new tank. This gravel works extremely well for planted tanks and for smaller fish species. It's a gemstone quality gravel, not the topfin crap from petsmart. I was scared to buy it after the reviews I read about it killing their fish. I wash it in small batches in a five gallon bucket before putting it in the tank. So far, really happy with how it looks in my small tank.

"I do not own fish."

I was scared to buy it after the reviews I read about it killing their fish. 5 inches of gravel, so you could use more or less depending on tank size. Some of the bad feedback says it clouds the water. Only issue is that it did have a hole in the bag but nothing too horrible. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and would suggest this product to others. I envisioned the bag being bigger since I ordered a 50lbs. This is perfect for a 2 gallon tank that also has some acrylic gems.

"Bright color."

I found it easier to do a medium sized bowl at a time. This was because of my own preconceived notions and not that of the sellers though. I half rinse it and put it in my tank. I've been using that for a few months now with my betta. It has lovely colors and I will be using ONLY this gravel in the future. All n all, very happy with the purchase. The smooth and small pebbles are great for people keeping corycats.

"Purchased this for my 1."

Aside from the size, the appearance of this gravel is what stands out the most. I used this for a small aquarium with 2 goldfish and it worked great! Works great in my daughter aquarium. I do not own glofish nor a glofish tank. I'm accenting with multicolored glass rocks to accent. The 50 pound bag was jus barely enough for my 55 gallon tank! It looks great and didn't change anything about the water.

"Bright color."

The gravel size is exactly as described in the product description- 2 to 4mm. If you have to bury tank decor that doesn't have suction cups then you need more. Really just rinsed a little and ready to go. They are rocks, what more do you need. I bought two bags for my 55 gallon. I rinsed it before I put it in the tank. Like everyone else says wash it before putting it in your tank.

I planned on spending 24-48 hours removing all the dust in washes and soaks. Removed pebbles and refilled for the 3rd time. 5 inches of gravel, so you could use more or less depending on tank size. So far, really happy with how it looks in my small tank. A little bigger than what I wanted but I still used it. I absolutely love how the rocks glow in my tank! "Excellent purchase."

Wouldn't have any other substrate for my axolotl. I didn't even need the water clarifier, and I found it in the bag. Like everyone else says wash it before putting it in your tank. This was the cheapest DIY project with a big wow factor. It looks great and didn't change anything about the water. The color of the gravel makes the blue in my Tetra's and Gourami's pop. It has lovely colors and I will be using ONLY this gravel in the future.
