"What a long."Easy enough to let it run all the time. Also I like how it shows both the current temperature and the set temperature. Once I opened the box i noticed the quality of the construction. The controller is easy to use, very accurate and reliable. They promptly fixed the issue without any delays or drama. I will definitely be buying another one for my other tanks at bigger one. Those turned out to be a hit and miss.

"Will update in a month."So if you set it to 78 degrees, the heater will not kick on until it reads 76. It would stick out of my 30 g wide tank if I were to put it vertical. This is a great heater that is very easy to set up and program. I am very happy with this purchase. This is only day one though, so I shall keep an eye one it. Easy to read the temp and know exactly how warm the water is. I like to keep it at 72 and from my thermometer it is reading at exactly 72.

"FIVE STARS!"You don't have to worry about wide temperature swings with this unit. I have a 10gallon tank that was at 72 degrees. It took about an hour to reach 80f, which is fairly quick. Awesome chiller, perfect for Hydroponics. All seem to vary between 1-2 degrees of each other which doesn't concern me much. The setting always stayed the same. When i installed them, i let them sit in the tanks without power for 6-24 hours.

"5 degrees."The temperature difference was very minor. I hope these suction cups work very well. I am very happy with this purchase. --The heater itself is a bit shorter if your tank is a short one. Seems to keep the temp n the tank fairly regular. It took me a few days slowly turning the dial up to finally get it where I wanted. We received the chiller promptly and put it into use.

"I have a 5."You don't have to worry about wide temperature swings with this unit. I have it set to 81F to get a 77F water temp. The heater protector was very heavy plastic and slim lined which is great. Also were nice along the whole process. The temperature has been holding all day, even in a colder room. Well I bought a second one took me only one trying to get the right temperature. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new unit in less than a week!

"Well written but vague."We would consider a replacement and then we would return the defective unit. Once attached to the tank wall I've had no issues with it coming off. This this is amazing and is worth the money. Also were nice along the whole process. I have a few of these and I use them in my 55 gallons tanks and a 29 gallon tank. The heater is super thin and the reflective surface is interesting. So if you set it to 78 degrees, the heater will not kick on until it reads 76.

"They contacted me."All seem to vary between 1-2 degrees of each other which doesn't concern me much. I use this little heater for my 10 gallon quarantine tank. This heater warmed it right up and now my Betta and guppies are more active. This product came in the nick of time! You program it for temperature you want your tank to be. After several weeks of running the heater. Beware, but we are hoping for a good outcome!

"Thank you for reading."I got this heater for my 55 gallon aquarium. Checked the accuracy of the heater with an infrared thermometer. There is a misconception on the internet that the heater isn't fully submersible. What more could you ask for great job Hygger Duncan. The temperatures are pretty accurate. I was worried about the quality but I am thoroughly impressed with this heater! When i installed them, i let them sit in the tanks without power for 6-24 hours.
