"Highly recommended."The temperature lights up so it's very easy to read. The heater is super thin and the reflective surface is interesting. Was very impressed with the quality of this heater. The line is there due to regulations in certain countries. They shipped us the upgraded version that also heats! I use this little heater for my 10 gallon quarantine tank. "Great concept."It took about an hour to reach 80f, which is fairly quick. Those turned out to be a hit and miss. If the blue light is flashing it means the heater is not fully submersible. I got the 200W variant for my 54 gallon corner tank that's housing goldfish. I have only had minor problems with the suction cups. I have a 10gallon tank that was at 72 degrees. I think it works well to not stand out like other heaters.

"Temperature!"Personally for me the housing doesn't bother me. It took me only two tries to get it to the correct temperature. Easy enough to let it run all the time. I left seller feedback yesterday but have yet to hear from the seller. Come on Fluval, expect better from you. This heater is NOT fully submersible. I had a thermometer on opposite side of tank and the heater was dead on true.

What more could you ask for great job Hygger Duncan. --The heater itself is a bit shorter if your tank is a short one. The setting always stayed the same. So when I first received it it didn't work and I was very disappointed. Was very impressed with the quality of this heater. No biggie, but annoying nonetheless.

"I have a betta in a 1."Keeps the temperature within 1 degree of what you set it to at all times. The cover over the heating tubes is great, the turtles claws can't damage the tube. Two inches above that is a waterline for maximum. Checked the accuracy of the heater with an infrared thermometer.

"Works great."I'm in the process of setting up for tanks. Also were nice along the whole process. The line is there due to regulations in certain countries. I went ahead and went with the the larger 300W for my 45 gallon. Ick for instance detaches from fish at 86 degrees and dies at 89. This is a great heater that is very easy to set up and program. We would consider a replacement and then we would return the defective unit.

"5 gallons."Once attached to the tank wall I've had no issues with it coming off. For Discus you need warm and accurate heater and this seems to do the trick. It comes with a hanging kit and can be secured on the edge of the tank. And I get to keep the first one I bought! I recieved this product without the instructions or the added thermometer. "It easy to set."Seems to keep the temp n the tank fairly regular. Maintains it well except when the weather is already warm then it over heats it. Also I like how it shows both the current temperature and the set temperature. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new unit in less than a week! The temperatures are pretty accurate. Am a totally sold customer and would recommend them to anybody! I think it works well to not stand out like other heaters.

"Best value."We wish the controls were available in Farenheit also to make things a little easier. It would stick out of my 30 g wide tank if I were to put it vertical. There is a misconception on the internet that the heater isn't fully submersible. No biggie, but annoying nonetheless. I would definitely recommend this product. Sometimes it gets outside of it's ability to cool but only within a few degrees. It's pretty noticeable, but I don't really care.

I dont know, and havent tried just yet. I appreciate the exterior temp readout and control module. I tested it by unplugging and replugging it. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new unit in less than a week!

"I would buy again."This has the best controller that I have found on the market. 210 gallon ones and one 90 gallon bow front tank. The heater is easy; turn the dial to set temp and plug in. The heater is being used in a 40 gallon breeder. This heater works, but the dial it isn't very accurate. It's only been set up for a month we'll see how well it does in a few months. This product came in the nick of time!
