It fit the 55gallon tank without an issue. Overall everything came intact and its working so I'm satisfied. Don't know about their longevity though. The instructions are good, I suggesting following them. The glass and the plastic hinge form a tight fit that is difficult to get together. EVEN DOWN TO THE TWO SIDED TAPE THAT HOLD THE HANDLES TO THE LIP TOP! It has a feeding hole and holes for the cables and filter.

I have a Penn Plax 1200 filter on my 55 gallon tank. Def a good purchase if you are looking for a affordable 55 gallon glass lid. Just buy the correct ones and you'll be fine. Some of the reviews I read were quite unclear. With these glass pieces, I was able to use my large light bar. Def a good purchase if you are looking for a affordable 55 gallon glass lid. It was a hassle to open to feed the fish as well as to clean.

ITS UP TO YOU TO GET YOUR MEASURMENTS RIGHT. The hooks for the back were an added bonus. Also, received a week earlier than scheduled date. The WS2812B LED lights are simply resting on top of the glass. Unfortunately, the price seems a little. Hoods work great and light is bright. It doesn't have a recessed area to help avoid movement.

I would order this again in a heartbeat. I have an Aqueon QuietFlow 30 and it fit just fine. We were not able to get the covers on without lubricating them first. Long story short, I got rid of Dolce and Gabbana. I think a tank could have rolled over the box and the glass wouldn't have cracked! He introduced himself and then confirmed my order. I bought this tank hood and I have never been happier.

Bought one for a 10 gal Tetra aquarium. Aside from these complaints I am very happy so I give it 4 stars. It looks sooooooo much nicer than the bulky old black top I had. My old hood was cracked and in desperate need of replacing. I bought this after the marine-land LED lid failed on me. NOW IN LATE APRIL, TWO OF THE THREE LED GROUPS ARE OUT. Mine slid right on with no problem so that might be an issue that they have fixed.

You do have to put the LED's in yourself but it is super super easy. The design is very low profile which I like a lot. I love it love it love it, and my fish are now happy! VERY BAD POLICY OF THE MANUFACTURER. VERY BAD POLICY OF THE MANUFACTURER. They fit perfectly on my tank, pretty thick glass& the handles attach easily. Lights are bright and makes my tank look really neat.

When I purchased these glass covers, I did it with my fingers crossed. When I first picked up the package, it was really light. Don't know about their longevity though. Yet another reason why I hate Top Fin. Sitting on the couch you can barely tell there's a hood on the tank. It would have been much easier to trim it prior to assembly. I have a 50 gallon tank with middle bar.

Nice that the seller called to ensure a good fit before shipping. Perfect fit for older aquarium's with thicker center piece and sides. It is flat and sleek, the led lights are fantastic. Had several cutouts to fit different size filters, heaters, etc. You have to assemble the LED lights to the hood yourself. My old hood was cracked and in desperate need of replacing. Unlike others on Amazon, this is real tempered glass and very strong. I am very happy I didn't list to the nay sayers! I would order this again in a heartbeat. I got the package within a couple of days, much sooner than I expected.
