"It turns everything blue."I really like that I can get a 24-hour effect with the timer. Its sold in different lengths and worked great for this light. If necessary, I'll just buy one more and I'm sure I'll be fine. The plants love it and it's easy on the eyes. Overall, this appears to be a good light for the price. It should be much further down the cord so that it can be hidden if desired. All of the LEDs appear to illuminate and the lights dim smoothly.

"IT IS SUPER BRIGHT!"I plan to upgrade all of my aquariums to this light. Like most led strips, this is low profile and thin. I thought they were fairly easy to set up. But now was an opportunity to upgrade. So if you set it to white only, it will default to ALL lights on. Overall, this LED light gives new fish tank owners the best bang for the buck. I eventually saw the tracking slip and it was terrible.

"It does not feel cheap."Wanted to return it but decided to keep it for my quarantine tank. My standard 10 gallon tank's hood finally crapped out on me. It should be much further down the cord so that it can be hidden if desired. Therefore you cannot use this fixture on a customer timer. What happens when you mix a lot of blue with a little red. Check out the photos on this 20 gallon grow out tank. When I added this light my plants where not looking well at all.

"I'm very pleased."The daytime lights are MUCH brighter than the lights my Top Fin hood has built in. I think the blue lights are meant to be an evening light. This is another awsome product from hygger. I have seen no flickering or pulsing of these lights as reported by other reviewers. I eventually saw the tracking slip and it was terrible. For the price you will not find a better light on the market. This will also give you the blue lights while the whites are on throughout the day.

For the price range of this light that is truly outstanding customer service. They are so much nicer than the florescent lights that came with my tanks. The corals look beautiful and the color spectrum is great.

"The blues are beautiful."When I ordered my second light it arrived with a dead transformer. They immediately sent out the package via UPS but UPS lost it. The last pic is the blue setting on the NICREW light. Cycling through brightness levels is awkward as well. This light is definitely amazing build quality and brightness for the price! You'll have to DIY it, and even then it might not look great. I purchased three of these for my 240 gallon reef tank and they work incredibly well.

"This light is awesome!"I plan to upgrade all of my aquariums to this light. The built-in schedule will restrict you which is super annoying. Has all the functions I need and want, and I am happy with this purchase. If necessary, I'll just buy one more and I'm sure I'll be fine. I really like that I can get a 24-hour effect with the timer. My plants have been pearling by late evening since installing the light. It's not an issue now that I understand it, but I thought it was broken at first.

"I hope this light lasts."Sadly I can't really use it yet because the glass canopy I ordered hasn’t arrived. They are so much nicer than the florescent lights that came with my tanks. It can penetrate deep into the tank and grow corals. We've got wide 13 gallon tank that is about 23 inches long. I added a moon light separately and all is good. Seems to be doing pretty well for my planted tank also! This light has some great intensity to it.

"Not with this light!"This is the second Nicrew light I have purchased for my aquariums. Another note, there are more blue LED than red LED. I plan to upgrade all of my aquariums to this light. Best of all you see the true color of your plants and fish. Even the torch, frogspawn and brain at the bottom of the tank is doing well. Thia works fantastic for my 75 G salt tank. My main display has been running with ecotech radions.

"Best thing I did!"I am so in love with this lights and looking forward to start a new planted tank. The timers are exactly what I needed to create sunrise and sunset effect. No pictures because the camera on the phone couldn't pick it up. Seems to be doing pretty well for my planted tank also! I have to once again sing praises for this light and company. That said, I tried it out today and it's gorgeous! We just run the bright lights during the day.
