"They are glass."There has been no adverse effects from the rocks. One thing I can say is 200 pieces is only good for a 5 gallon tank. The price is a bit shocking at first, but the rocks are nice. 500 marbles isn't as big a bag as you think, but they're all there. Worked well for what I needed them for. 2 tanks have a betta or corydora catfish so I needed smooth rocks for their safety. Light casts through them well and they are attractive.

"Works well."Nice and shiny giving that always wet look. So, very pretty, glow nicely at night and add a pop of color during the day. I ordered two packets and counted them one by one. Great quality, though smaller than I thought. I just rinsed them with hot, then cold water, and put them in the tank. These gems are so dainty and sparkly! Described as aquarium stones but I used them to decorate my plant pot.

"Bought the marbles."Gorgeous stones, I highly recommend! All arrived clean and in good condition. I bought these rocks for my flower pots that I put out in summer. I have included two photos of the ones I received. They glow pretty bright after a full day under a UV lamp. I use them for game pieces, they are perfect. I am using them in a shallow pan with water to let bees drink.

"They work."They're big enough one package goes a long way. 2 tanks have a betta or corydora catfish so I needed smooth rocks for their safety. "It was a big hit!"These are lovely clear glass marbles and lots of them. We use them to decorate a gravel garden path until the birds steal them all. Great for my betta because he cannot snag his fins on them. I ordered two packets and counted them one by one. Reviews say not to clean them when they get dirty so I won't. There has been no adverse effects from the rocks. I plopped one in with the shrimps and they were all over it like a tramp on chips.

"5 retreat tank."The price is a bit shocking at first, but the rocks are nice. Attached a couple of Petite Anubias I purchased from Petco and the tank is set. I plopped one in with the shrimps and they were all over it like a tramp on chips. Definitely not the case with these. Comes with a good amount for the cost. These would look pretty in a vase with some artificial flowers. Good for the tank with the added bonus of looking good too!

"Exactly as pictured."I painted targets with large used pizza boxes and they were used with the marbles. Out of the water they will be much lighter than their colors immersed. Nice and shiny giving that always wet look. The water is very clean and therefore less maintenance required. For a sample compare the advert photo and the darker photo from the reviews. We put them in our aquaponics tank and they are great. I'm using them in a tank with black sand and green plants and they look very nice.
