That took a lot of hand and my own weight and strength to get the screw in nicely. They came apart and extremely cumbersome. I like the dual aquarium aspect of it so that I can have a 10 gallon aquarium below. The finish absolutely will bubble if you get it wet. However, one gets use to working within the space provided. Otherwise it a very sturdy and easy to assemble stand. I don't know if the wood is water sealed.

"Really nice stand."

I can't say enough good things about this product. I did add wood glue when assembling it. Holds my 10 gal fish tank with no worries. Just make sure to measure your tank before ordering. Check out my how to video on my YouTube channel electric blue aquariums. There is even enough room inside the cabinet for a 5. Looks like it should last for a long time.

• BINDER: Seachem Zeolite is a naturally occurring, highly-porous mineral that binds ammonia and heavy metals through an ion exchange mechanism.
• REMOVER: Seachem Zeolite works in marine and freshwater to remove harmful metal ions such as lead, copper, nickel, and zinc without depleting calcium in saltwater nor increase general hardness in freshwater where the ionic strength is low.
• DIRECTIONS: Use 250 mL (1 cup) of Seachem Zeolite for every 200 L (50 US gallons). For smaller aquariums, the equivalent dose is 5 mL (1 level teaspoon) per 4 L (1 US gallon). This amount of Seachem Zeolite will remove up to 0.5 mg/L ammonia. Ammonia levels should then drop to zero within 24-48 hours. At this point, the zeolite can be removed or replaced with Active Carbon.
• FOR BEST RESULTS: Seachem Zeolite should be rinsed before use and placed so as to maximize the flow of water through it, but not so that it tumbles against itself in flow. Zeolite may be used in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any high flow area of a trickle filter. Use of a filter bag is also recommended.
• SAFETY: Be sure to wash thoroughly after handling Seachem Zeolite and store this product in its original container in a cool, dry area away from food or incompatible materials.

"Easy to assemble."

The design fits right in with the house and it looks amazing. Build time for 1 person is about 75 mins. It is easy to set up if you take your time to lay it all out first. Easy to put together, maybe 30 minutes. I also have the version that fits my 75 gallon tank. Once that was done, the rest of the assembly was easy. You do have complete access on the sides as the panel is only on the front.

The backside is wood, not cardboard, and makes the stand very sturdy. The shelving Is a plus, but I feel it is overpriced. I did not install the hanging panel. It was kinda a pain to put together but other then that it is awesome! Each part was labeled for easy step by step assemble. I don't know if the wood is water sealed. All in all this is a very good product for the money.

The final part of the assembly was the door. Easy to assemble except for the screws! They came apart and extremely cumbersome. I don't know if the wood is water sealed. It has a lot of space in the cabinet and the doors stay shut very well. However, one gets use to working within the space provided. That took a lot of hand and my own weight and strength to get the screw in nicely.

Easy to out together and does its job- holding my Fluval Flex. If you want a shelf, you'll have to install them yourself from your own wood. Easy to assemble and feels sturdy enough for my 14gal cube. Considering the price I'll probably go with Aquatic Fundamentals again in the future. Looks like it should last for a long time. Stand was a perfect fit for my Aqueon 10 Gallon Tank on the top. I was expecting something flimsy and cheap at this price but NOT AT ALL.

Hopefully the above can save someone else a bit of aggravation. Works great with the aquarium and sturdy enough that I don't have to worry. When the box arrived, I almost sent it back, there was so much damage. I used to have the same one same size, but black mode about 2 years ago. I put felt pads on the legs to make sure they don't scratch our hardwood floors. If you have an aquarium of a different design, it may not fit. I was wary of particle board stands but this is a great value and is very sturdy. It fits my 20 gallon tank perfectly. The only thing I would be cautious of ordering this is the dimensions of the stand. This is perfect for my 10 gallon tank on top and will add my 5. I wanted to get a fish stand for my 20 gallon high aquarium.

Made of particle board but it does the job and looks good. I would highly recommend that one as well. Extremely high quality for such a small price. The final part of the assembly was the door. The reason that I gave 4 stars in stead of 5 is because of the wasted space. My only wish would be that the center door could be a little wider. The final part of the assembly was the door.

It looks much more expensive and custom than it is. Dude, you can have all ur friends stand on this and it won't collapse. Build time for 1 person is about 75 mins. I would have given it 5 stars except for the price. This is even more gorgeous in person. I cannot say enough good about this stand! I like how the front door'clicks' open and closed.
