"Great beginners tank."

It's probably fine, but I don't like it at all. It also sits on the bottom glass pane, not the edges of the viewing panes. Hope this list helps those who are new to keeping fish-- they are a great first pet! It is definitely something that you can noticeably hear, but it is not an annoyance. And the lights that it comes with are my absolute favorite. The filter is actually a pretty nice design. This is especially important if you opt to keep tropical fish rather than a betta.

Definitely recommend this tank hands down! It has everything except for the pebbles we purchased separated we loved it! Once finished with both tanks will post pics of grass wall. It comes with the filter and lights. I've had it for a few days now and had zero problems hooking everything up. You are getting a premium quality tank for a reasonable price. I would recommend those back flow connectors for the air pump.

Not impossible to reach but definitely an odd angle you have to go in from lol. There's also enough room back there to hide a heater. It's just super bulky and hard to work around. The curve radius also makes it hard to clean the glass on the edges. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this Beautiful little tank so much I bought another one. The adjustable pump can be turned down really low so the flow does not bother a Beta. James spends his days swimming all around his tank and working on his bubble nest. So I now have a little cubby that my fish uses to hide. The filter has great flow and comes with an extended spray bar. I think it's a great looking tank and I would definitely recommend it to others. If you are into dwarf shrimp that is. The price is definitely a big plus.

I dont use the filter, I covered up the filter vents with some netting. I bought this to basically replace a 5 gallon tank and make a new planted version. The background is made very nicely and doesn't take up a whole lot of the tank. It is really just a trickle at the lowest setting. I've included a video of it running so you can judge for yourself. It just sits under the tank with no way of holding the tank in place on top of it. It's probably fine, but I don't like it at all.

Absolutely perfect for a planted beta set up. I love looking at it while I'm in the kitchen. The lights have a timer and three different levels of brightness and color. Just loading gravel scratched the front of mine. No more then five or six tiny ones is my guess.
