"I highly recommend it."Will not grow anything aside from Anubias and moss balls. I say it's a good buy and a very nice tank. Not crazy about the lid or the stand. Not impossible to reach but definitely an odd angle you have to go in from lol. This is the best 5 gallon tank you will ever purchase for the price. I'm working on a planted tank, will decide what fish will work. I think it's a great looking tank and I would definitely recommend it to others.

"It is very quiet."The aquarium kit is with the exception of the filter is excellent! Will not grow anything aside from Anubias and moss balls. The pump is also as close to silent as you can get. And the lights that it comes with are my absolute favorite. The lights have a timer and three different levels of brightness and color. It is perfect for small places like a kitchen counter, night stand, or even a desk. Instructions were easy to use and the filter system is relatively quiet.

"5 tank for my Betta fish."I'm not sure that it could be much quieter. Fortunately, the way the arm is designed you can zip tie something like the 7. My beta seems to be adjusting well. I have this unit deployed for a couple of months now. I'm a first-time fish parent, and this is my first filtered aquarium. It is very easy to set up and also comes with easy to understand instructions. The filter is actually a pretty nice design.

"A soft humming sound."I bought this to basically replace a 5 gallon tank and make a new planted version. The background adds a lot of depth that feels missing in a standard aquarium. That piece is very poorly designed. Even though it's open about half way up the heater. There arent very many other aquariums at this price point with these measurements. They literally thought of everything. I'm working on a planted tank, will decide what fish will work.

So I ended up taking the filter out and replacing it with a sponge filter. Once finished with both tanks will post pics of grass wall. Fluval, BioOrd, and several other micro tanks. No doubt, I'll just be throwing that out. The motor has four little suction cup feet for stability.

"I am in love with it."So I now have a little cubby that my fish uses to hide. It just sits under the tank with no way of holding the tank in place on top of it. The rule of thumb is one small fish per gallon. Problem is, the glass sits flush with that top edge. We have had it for over a month now. It also sits on the bottom glass pane, not the edges of the viewing panes. The Mingdak strip is also waterproof and submersible so there's that.

"Really Cool!"This helps to build a small eco system that reduces tank maintenance. - it really only holds 4 gallons after you add gravel and decorations. And now, the pros and cons in my opinion. Just loading gravel scratched the front of mine. The light is fairly bright but insufficient for growing any decent live plants. I cant wait to set this up and get some shrimp and cardinal tetras in there. They'll have a lot more room to play around decorations and stuff, too.
