I find that the temps are accurate, and this product gives added peace of mind. Still a recommendation for me due to price and accuracy. Works well in my betta tank, but provide a couple hours for it to read temp changes. Simple fix, you adjust the thermometer within the suction cup and VIOLA! I needed a solution that was not breakable and these do the trick! I tested this in a cup crammed full of ice and some water. Ambient room temperature measures 72.

All were Close enough for a fish tank and other uses. I used these on a number of my aquariums that have discus fish in them. I don't think i'll ever be able to trust a digital thermometer again. SIX Digital Thermometers with SIX batteries INCLUDED working so well. I tested this in a cup crammed full of ice and some water. The display can be set to Fahrenheit or Celsius. I am extremely pleased with this product.

Excellent working for our bearded dragon tank. 49 thermometer that is 100% accurate. This company is taking the long term view of how to do business right. I used to have a large hang in the side tank that you couldn't miss. Place it on your aquarium and you are good to go. Now I'm getting back in on a much smaller scale with 3 gallon Acrylic Nano tanks. This is my first 5 star review out of many many reviews on Amazon.

You can use the thermometer with or without the plastic suction cup. It is large enough to see without being obtrusive. Ordered three of these and they do the job. So the extra units will always come in handy. Set all six probes up in a terrarium with a constant temp of 88. The display can be set to Fahrenheit or Celsius. Have checked them against the glass thermometers and the accuracy is right on.

Very accurate, have checked it with other thermometers as well. However, Lucy at Zacro read this review and emailed me. You dont HAVE to stick the display onto your tank. Simple fix, you adjust the thermometer within the suction cup and VIOLA! All are pretty accurate within one degree as claimed. As you can see from my photos, in both°F and°C, all six are within. I've checked it against two other thermometers that are accurate.

Far more accurate than the usual small glass ones or external LCD strips. When I set up my newest tank I will be getting another one of these. This is how you calibrate a thermometer. I got root rot after light leaks and high water temps. I removed the batteries of the units I wasn't using right away. Just BE CAREFUL WHEN ADJUSTING, IT IS GLASS AND WILL BREAK. If the digital display starts to get dim, it's time for a new battery.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because my betta fish didn't like it. I used these to raise chicks, and in my parrot cages. Only thing I don't love is how long the cord is. I got the second one as a bonus that I'm now using in my old tank. Simple fix, you adjust the thermometer within the suction cup and VIOLA! I read some of the 1 star reviews and most of them are not about the product. The plastic from the suction cup quickly turned from a clear to a milky white.

I find that the temps are accurate, and this product gives added peace of mind. Put them all in the same tank and they read very close to each other. Have checked them against the glass thermometers and the accuracy is right on. I have mine on my 60 gallon cube marine tank. I bent it a little bit and when I put it back it was perfectly fine. 6F all six took about three minutes to read between 88. I just wrote it off as a minor loss.
