"Exactly what I needed."I have always had trouble reading the color temp. 6F all six took about three minutes to read between 88. Personally I do not mind the way it looks in my aquarium. I got root rot after light leaks and high water temps. Who knows, whatever it was, it was revolting! I find that the temps are accurate, and this product gives added peace of mind. You dont HAVE to stick the display onto your tank.

"I opened the first three."You can glue, tape or simply cover the cords in the tank to keep them discreet. Only thing I don't love is how long the cord is. I did have a problem with one in my first pack of 6. I bent it a little bit and when I put it back it was perfectly fine. These digital thermometers are great and there is no guesswork involved. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because my betta fish didn't like it. So the extra units will always come in handy.

"Love this product!"This temperature read a perfect 32 degrees. I got root rot after light leaks and high water temps. I'm pretty sure those reviewers have acrylic tanks. These things are useful for a lot besides pet husbandry, too. I have mine on my 60 gallon cube marine tank. The display can be set to Fahrenheit or Celsius. I read some of the 1 star reviews and most of them are not about the product.

"Great price."It is my opinion that everyone should have these that are in the Aquarium Hobby. The digital display itself is easy to read at a glance. 6 in a pack, extra batteries, easy set up, great price. I removed the batteries of the units I wasn't using right away. It is always where yo last put it and it is very easy to see and read. "Really easy to hook up."The units each had a battery in place and situated for immediate use. Was going to get a floater until I saw this magnetic one! I find that the temps are accurate, and this product gives added peace of mind. This little wonder allows me to see at a glance that everything is as it should be. When I set up my newest tank I will be getting another one of these. My 50+ eyes cannot read a regular tank thermometer without squinting. 89 I could buy Six Thermometers with Six included batteries.

"Super easy."He was moving slow in the winter and we realized he needed a heater! The plastic from the suction cup quickly turned from a clear to a milky white. Since it is a mercury thermometer, it is very accurate. In this scenario it would probably get knocked loose a lot. I bent it a little bit and when I put it back it was perfectly fine. Now if it falls into a sink full of water, it's not a problem. Place it on your aquarium and you are good to go.

"Just received it today."I have kept aquariums for about 45 years. They reviewed the packaging or shipping by saying it arrived broken. 2 deg, if it was 32, it would be a SOLID block of ice. So far, they're all doing their job in my four tanks and I am quite content. Checked with temp gun and the terrarium was on target at 88. It is my opinion that everyone should have these that are in the Aquarium Hobby. Works well in my betta tank, but provide a couple hours for it to read temp changes.

"Buy these."The lid is textured aluminum, and the suction cups don't stick to that. I was using one of those ubiquitous cheap digital thermometers on Amazon. Then is started to give a low reading, and it is not reading the correct temperature. You dont HAVE to stick the display onto your tank. I've checked it against two other thermometers that are accurate. I guess these units do not like saltwater. Excellent working for our bearded dragon tank.

These are the perfect size to be easily read while not being obtrusive. I used these on a number of my aquariums that have discus fish in them. I just wrote it off as a minor loss. Simple fix, you adjust the thermometer within the suction cup and VIOLA! All are pretty accurate within one degree as claimed. As you can see from my photos, in both°F and°C, all six are within. I've checked it against two other thermometers that are accurate.
