I even separated the tubes and used it to clean my small 5 gallon! All it takes is a couple of pumps and the water starts flowing. I haven't tried all the function tools this kit provided. Most of the time I just took out half tank then top off with fresh water. Works as advertised and was delivered faster than estimated. It does the job I need it to,very effective. It pulls out the dirty water and debris but doesn't take your substrate with it.

I let everything soak in water and washed with safe dish soap before using. So much better than my smaller python. Definitely not for the common colored gravel found at pet stores. Hard for small hands like mine to grasp and use easily. Once put together, I tried it immediately- it was AWESOME! - Multiple head attachment for different tasks. I did have to cut one of the tubes to make it a little shorter but that was easy.

"That was a bit confusing."

I have a 55 gallon turtle aquarium and this works awesome for it. I got this to replace my previous siphon, which was falling apart and pretty nasty. The bucket clamp also doesn't work very well. I let everything soak in water and washed with safe dish soap before using. You can see the debris coming up the tube like an elevator- hahah. It's too small, just wash that baby out at the sink. It eliminates spilled and dripping water on my carpet and floors.

I even separated the tubes and used it to clean my small 5 gallon! That will show you which parts go were. This way I could empty into a 5 gallon bucket for mini water changes. Gets under decorations between plants and in corners. Sometimes I would get tank water in my mouth. Thank you for making my job easier. It got clogged a few times and i had to take it to the sink and run water through it.

"Wish I got one sooner!"

5 gallons- it works amazingly well. Had a minor issue which their service department addressed immediately. The water from the front yard garden hose is cold. Do what I did, and do, and so many others have stated in their reviews. I do not write a ton of reviews but I HAVE to review this amazing time saver! Most of the time I just took out half tank then top off with fresh water. The shower head also has a nice pressure control on it to make it Spray more or less.

Almost a must have for anyone with an aquarium. Product arrived really quick and is packaged nicely. I had to shake the substrate out of the bottom inch of the tube only twice! The vacuum insn't too loud which is good, and has very good suction. I just don't know why I didn’t order it sooner. The shower mode make more oxygen just like an airstone. You can't get a better product for such a decent price!

They have plenty of suction to clean an inch or so off the ground. I didn't see any grease or anything, but it smelled like it. I had to shake the substrate out of the bottom inch of the tube only twice! I think this vacuum is a smart design by someone. Simple, lightweight design does exactly what it says it will do. Very impressed with their responsiveness as they stand behind their product. It works great and was fairly inexpensive compared to other similar products.

I washed mine with mild dish soap and the small was gone. Gets the turtle poos and I dont have to empty my tank every 2 weeks! Once you practice with it some its a really nice thing to have. I did have to cut one of the tubes to make it a little shorter but that was easy. And kind of shook it and tested it by plugging it in. I washed mine with mild dish soap and the small was gone. Product seems to be well made and should work a long time with reasonable care. Suction is amazing and I don't have any issues. Once put together, I tried it immediately- it was AWESOME! They have plenty of suction to clean an inch or so off the ground. I was using a regular siphon gravel cleaner and it was painstaking. I even separated the tubes and used it to clean my small 5 gallon! Makes cleaning my daughter's turtle tank much, much easier.
