Once you practice with it some its a really nice thing to have. I just don't know why I didn’t order it sooner. Makes keeping the fish tank alot easier and quicker! I bought this one and I absolutely love it. My prior one took several squeezes and I had to hold a finger over the outlet. I had to put the goldfish into the other 5-gallon tank, and then do the water change. Gets the turtle poos and I dont have to empty my tank every 2 weeks!

You can't get a better product for such a decent price! I felt comfortable cleaning both my 10 gallon and 55 gallon tank. Once you practice with it some its a really nice thing to have. It finally broke after 10 years of use so I could justify buying a new one! I put the water from the from yard into a 58 qt bin first. I have several divided tanks and I struggle to get the normal syphon in to clean. Prolly also easier to use with larger hands.

I pushed the tip down into the substrate and pulled the ditritus out right away. Product seems to be well made and should work a long time with reasonable care. I even separated the tubes and used it to clean my small 5 gallon! Prolly also easier to use with larger hands. It quit working after the second use! So much better than my smaller python. Definitely worth the money spent on the product.

"Fairly easy set up."

It eliminates spilled and dripping water on my carpet and floors. I take that off to hit the fine crevices. I bought this one and I absolutely love it. Gets under decorations between plants and in corners. The easy siphoning of fish debris used to be a pain to do. I did have to cut one of the tubes to make it a little shorter but that was easy. I gotta say tho that it's really powerful.

I gotta say tho that it's really powerful. Putting the thing together is really intuitive and easy. So after I received my replacement tool, i did a water change with it. Simple, lightweight design does exactly what it says it will do. I may still return this BUT I'm going to try once again. Once put together, I tried it immediately- it was AWESOME! I even separated the tubes and used it to clean my small 5 gallon!

This one doesn't lose suction, and is easy to use. The water gets going fast too so be careful lol thanks so much! I bought this one and I absolutely love it. So much better than my smaller python. I had to put the goldfish into the other 5-gallon tank, and then do the water change. Ignore the orang plastic clip that attaches to a bucket. It's too small, just wash that baby out at the sink.

You can see the debris coming up the tube like an elevator- hahah. Definitely worth the money spent on the product. I wish i had bought this the first time. The bucket clamp also doesn't work very well. It did however do a better job than the gravel vac i was using before. This water pump certainly takes much of those hassle out of water changes. I let everything soak in water and washed with safe dish soap before using.

Definitely not for the common colored gravel found at pet stores. The shower head also has a nice pressure control on it to make it Spray more or less. The water gets going fast too so be careful lol thanks so much! It fills buckets faster than my old siphon. I bought this one and I absolutely love it. I had to shake the substrate out of the bottom inch of the tube only twice! I may still return this BUT I'm going to try once again.

Putting the thing together is really intuitive and easy. Easy peasy and clean up is a breeze. This is definitely a better tool overall. It's too small, just wash that baby out at the sink. And suddenly it began running again! Perhaps if it gets a piece of sand in the pump then it freezes or seizes. It is simple, but not without being a very thoughtfully designed product.

I used a plastic hose from home depot as this black hose is worthless. You can't get a better product for such a decent price! I pushed the tip down into the substrate and pulled the ditritus out right away. It was easy to use and really did the job! The vacuum insn't too loud which is good, and has very good suction. Hard for small hands like mine to grasp and use easily. Maybe this will make me not put them off now.
