"- Very easy to use."I'd recommend this, but it just takes a little practice. 5 gallons- it works amazingly well. The bucket clamp also doesn't work very well. Python is good too but this is fast, easy and light. It works great and was fairly inexpensive compared to other similar products. Works as advertised and was delivered faster than estimated. "Who knows."Instead, I would suck from the end of the tube until water came out. And kind of shook it and tested it by plugging it in. The easy siphoning of fish debris used to be a pain to do. Do what I did, and do, and so many others have stated in their reviews. I could see it working for 10 gallons, especially with a little experience. So after I received my replacement tool, i did a water change with it. I pushed the tip down into the substrate and pulled the ditritus out right away.

It is simple, but not without being a very thoughtfully designed product. When I used it to get the water out, I found out it has pump function. So this thing has alot of parts and poor instructions. This hose would be over kill for 20 gals or less but I have 40 gal tanks. They have plenty of suction to clean an inch or so off the ground.

"Fantastic."I wish i had bought this the first time. The trigger can be pulled on and off and it shakes the gravel for you. This water pump certainly takes much of those hassle out of water changes. The best thing is I don't need to shovel gravels out to clean the bottom of the tank. I am very pleased with this product! Once you practice with it some its a really nice thing to have. I gotta say tho that it's really powerful.

"YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM."It's too small, just wash that baby out at the sink. I bought this one and I absolutely love it. I also found that the angled attachment clogged way easy. I LOVE IT SO MUCH I'm getting another for the fish tank at my Mom's house. So this thing has alot of parts and poor instructions. Thank you for making my job easier. Best fish maintenance product I have purchased. It fills buckets faster than my old siphon. Just incase there is residual factory lube or something on it. Sometimes I would get tank water in my mouth.

"It worked perfectly."Python is good too but this is fast, easy and light. Water changing+ vacuuming, you can use it as powerhead to make more water movement. It did however do a better job than the gravel vac i was using before. Instead, I would suck from the end of the tube until water came out. I found that it's difficult to use. Makes cleaning my daughter's turtle tank much, much easier. Easy peasy and clean up is a breeze.

"TIME SAVER!"Python is good too but this is fast, easy and light. It is simple, but not without being a very thoughtfully designed product. The speed of water removal works for cleaning an occupied tank. I let everything soak in water and washed with safe dish soap before using. When I used it to get the water out, I found out it has pump function. I had to put the goldfish into the other 5-gallon tank, and then do the water change. The shower mode make more oxygen just like an airstone.

"Instructions are good."You can see the debris coming up the tube like an elevator- hahah. It made the water change in our 55 gallon tank so much easier! This is definitely a better tool overall. With this product I was able to do it by myself quickly and easily! Instead, I would suck from the end of the tube until water came out. Like I said can splice more hose on to reach to the outside or wherever. But It always ended up messy with water on the floor.

"That was a bit confusing."It works great and was fairly inexpensive compared to other similar products. The bucket clamp also doesn't work very well. I THINK most likely it came from the factory because it had a industrial smell to it. I bought this one and I absolutely love it. I just don't know why I didn’t order it sooner. I put it together in a cinch and was off and running. Had a minor issue which their service department addressed immediately.

"Ouch, lol."Hopefully my replacement works and I can change my review. Definitely like the bulb for starting suction easily. When I used it to get the water out, I found out it has pump function. I opted for a gift card and I will have to find another way to make this thing. You can't get a better product for such a decent price! I have a 55 gallon turtle aquarium and this works awesome for it. I did have to cut one of the tubes to make it a little shorter but that was easy.

"Hope this helps someone."Putting the thing together is really intuitive and easy. The vacuum insn't too loud which is good, and has very good suction. But It always ended up messy with water on the floor. I even separated the tubes and used it to clean my small 5 gallon! I LOVE IT SO MUCH I'm getting another for the fish tank at my Mom's house. I used a plastic hose from home depot as this black hose is worthless. Gets under decorations between plants and in corners. Ignore the orang plastic clip that attaches to a bucket. "Would purchase again."Once you get the tank water flowing out of the tubing. It did however do a better job than the gravel vac i was using before. You won't go wrong with this product. The nuisance has certainly yielded me from cleaning tank more often. Simple, lightweight design does exactly what it says it will do. It doesn't try to eat the rocks like the triangular head does. It is not good to let the goldfish encounter the cold water directly.
