"So not too durable."

The suction tube is plenty long to reach all over in the'hard to reach' spots. The water gets going fast too so be careful lol thanks so much! Definitely not for the common colored gravel found at pet stores. I did not receive the glass scraper with mine, but don't think I'd use it anyways. The speed of water removal works for cleaning an occupied tank. I put it together in a cinch and was off and running. Great product and would highly recommend!

With this product I was able to do it by myself quickly and easily! Gets under decorations between plants and in corners. Python overkill for that size but it has it's place. It was quiet and I could sink it into the aquarium and stir up the substrate. Thank you for making my job easier. It's really a super super great tool. I got this to replace my previous siphon, which was falling apart and pretty nasty.

I have gone through two others and they lasted about a month. Hard for small hands like mine to grasp and use easily. Product seems to be well made and should work a long time with reasonable care. I pushed the tip down into the substrate and pulled the ditritus out right away. I also found that the angled attachment clogged way easy. The nuisance has certainly yielded me from cleaning tank more often. Almost a must have for anyone with an aquarium.

Suction is amazing and I don't have any issues. Almost a must have for anyone with an aquarium. It finally broke after 10 years of use so I could justify buying a new one! Water changing+ vacuuming, you can use it as powerhead to make more water movement. You can see the debris coming up the tube like an elevator- hahah. The shower mode make more oxygen just like an airstone. It got clogged a few times and i had to take it to the sink and run water through it.

I pushed the tip down into the substrate and pulled the ditritus out right away. This hose would be over kill for 20 gals or less but I have 40 gal tanks. Prolly also easier to use with larger hands. Easy peasy and clean up is a breeze. You won't go wrong with this product. It does the job I need it to,very effective. The trigger can be pulled on and off and it shakes the gravel for you.
