And suddenly it began running again! I put it together in a cinch and was off and running. Hopefully my replacement works and I can change my review. I bought this one and I absolutely love it. It is not good to let the goldfish encounter the cold water directly. This siphon really sucks, and I'm glad I bought it. So after I received my replacement tool, i did a water change with it.

I have a 55 gallon turtle aquarium and this works awesome for it. - Multiple head attachment for different tasks. Most of the time I just took out half tank then top off with fresh water. It kept coming off and made a mess on the floor. I bought this one and I absolutely love it. I could see it working for 10 gallons, especially with a little experience. Python is good too but this is fast, easy and light.

The water gets going fast too so be careful lol thanks so much! Python overkill for that size but it has it's place. I pushed the tip down into the substrate and pulled the ditritus out right away. Thank you for making my job easier. Works as advertised and was delivered faster than estimated. Once put together, I tried it immediately- it was AWESOME! Ignore the orang plastic clip that attaches to a bucket.

I even separated the tubes and used it to clean my small 5 gallon! All it takes is a couple of pumps and the water starts flowing. I haven't tried all the function tools this kit provided. Most of the time I just took out half tank then top off with fresh water. Works as advertised and was delivered faster than estimated. It does the job I need it to,very effective. It pulls out the dirty water and debris but doesn't take your substrate with it.

This way I could empty into a 5 gallon bucket for mini water changes. Once put together, I tried it immediately- it was AWESOME! Product arrived really quick and is packaged nicely. - Multiple head attachment for different tasks. It does the same work, only better and in half the time. This hose would be over kill for 20 gals or less but I have 40 gal tanks. The pump works very well too, two squeezes and it's siphoning.

It works great and was fairly inexpensive compared to other similar products. But all in all, I'm relieved and happy! I put the water from the from yard into a 58 qt bin first. You won't go wrong with this product. And kind of shook it and tested it by plugging it in. I wanted another one but amazon just wants me to return it. All it takes is a couple of pumps and the water starts flowing.

It is simple, but not without being a very thoughtfully designed product. Like I said can splice more hose on to reach to the outside or wherever. The trigger can be pulled on and off and it shakes the gravel for you. It got clogged a few times and i had to take it to the sink and run water through it. So much better than my smaller python. With this product I was able to do it by myself quickly and easily! Sometimes I would get tank water in my mouth. The water from the front yard garden hose is cold. Do what I did, and do, and so many others have stated in their reviews. The vacuum insn't too loud which is good, and has very good suction. But It always ended up messy with water on the floor.

I do not write a ton of reviews but I HAVE to review this amazing time saver! Python is good too but this is fast, easy and light. I had to shake the substrate out of the bottom inch of the tube only twice! I'd recommend this, but it just takes a little practice. Soft tubing, large debris basket, hand pump to get it to flow. The bucket clamp also doesn't work very well. Ignore the orang plastic clip that attaches to a bucket.
