"Strong dual action flow."There are two pieces of wood among the rocks. They are some of the quietest pumps on the market! It would be best to replace the build in half that time. One the first few days the water was so cloudy I couldn't see the U. My loft gets lots of sun, so algae is a constant battle in my 60 gallon. "No issues."I turned to Amazon, and sure enough, it was there. Eheim is one of the best filters out there. Third pic was taken 15 days after the first pic, 5 days after the second. The unit is silent as far as I can tell, unless you turn the bubbles on. Pretty much a no brainer there if they offer it. The Seller quickly replaced the Venturi pump for me. I took it out of the package and it was perfect.

"Works great!"The bubbles are noisier than an air-stone. Very well-made product and fits on a filter I am using that is not from this company. Just a quick note about UV sterilizers in general. I've had it running for almost a week, and it's basically silent. Once I put this filter in I saw results in 2 days and better results by day 5. You need to replace this after cleaning the filter every so often. My aquarium is free of algae and is so clear and pristine.

"Works well."It's not very loud, but not silent either. I made a highball last night with it. I purchased this replacement since my RIO HF8 died just after 3 years. Easy to use, but has no instructions, at least mine didn't. Not having a free flow intake is what burns electric pump motors out. Arrived soon enough, and packaged adequately. Great pump for CPR BakPak protein skimmer.

"Cheap and easy."The water is clear and fish are healthy. Only four stars because I cant tell if the uv light is working while it's on. Fit perfectly and has been working well. I was happy to find the same barracuda pump at a reasonable price. Only other issue I have is how stiff the tubing is. I tried weekly 40% water changes, API Clear, and the algae just got worse. This had turned my tank from a black algae mess to Crystal clear.

"Last one ran for 8 years."Eheim is one of the best filters out there. This causes it to rattle and stop turning altogether. After two more days of running, I turned it off because of the current. This filter worked exactly as it should. It was a great relief and manage to order this item at amazon. Bought it to replace my stock water pumps for JBJ nanocube 28g. It would be best to replace the build in half that time.

"Trustworthy."Hopefully I can get at least 5 years out of this little pump. Fit my Eheim Double Tap Quick Release perfectly. The best price by far from anything i could find online. I removed the old pump from my Protein Skimmer and put this one in place. Pretty much a no brainer there if they offer it. Water filter I carry to purify backcountry water when I'm backpacking. The flow rate is perfect, and they fit well inside my cubes sump.

"Nicely made."The clip with prongs to keep the tube in place also doesn't fit and stay in place. Would have loved it if the new black colored hose was available at the time. Only other issue I have is how stiff the tubing is. I regularly test for nitrate, nitrite, total hardness, alkalinity, pH. My old Snapper needed to be cleaned and rebuilt after 6 years of constant use. I would've spent more on just an air pump and stone than I did for this. If you have a Biocube 29 HQI, this is a great choice at a reasonable price.

"10 gal tank."UV lights do loose their effectiveness over time. Hopefully I can get at least 5 years out of this little pump. I did everything to combat it that I could. I figured it must have been left over from manufacturing or it had broken in transit. The two combined solved my dirty water problem within a few hours! Its pump apparentely was too small for the tank. Fit perfect on my eheim canister 2213.

"30 gal tank."I have high end pumps by Eheim and Danner for high flow applications. Brand new out of the box and a great price. Easy to use, but has no instructions, at least mine didn't. I put it in the aquarium, and took the first pic five minutes later. I had to take it out of the tank and pull off the cover to see if the light was on. Its pump apparentely was too small for the tank. I believe I have never had a Marineland product before, and am generally impressed.
