"No complaints."I believe I have never had a Marineland product before, and am generally impressed. I was skeptical because of the price, but this thing really is a game changer! You need to replace this after cleaning the filter every so often. The best price by far from anything i could find online. If you have a Biocube 29 HQI, this is a great choice at a reasonable price. Highly recommend as substitute tubing for your canister filters. It tasted delicious and looked great in my glass.

"Still happy."I have a 150 gallon aquarium with two Pacu's around 14 inches long. Best thing I've gotten for my tank in the year we’ve been fighting the algae issue. I made a highball last night with it. It's totally silent, runs very cool, and is reliable so far. Anyways, I usually turn it on before i go to bed and off during the day. My loft gets lots of sun, so algae is a constant battle in my 60 gallon. The Seller quickly replaced the Venturi pump for me.

"30 gal tank."I have high end pumps by Eheim and Danner for high flow applications. Brand new out of the box and a great price. Easy to use, but has no instructions, at least mine didn't. I put it in the aquarium, and took the first pic five minutes later. I had to take it out of the tank and pull off the cover to see if the light was on. Its pump apparentely was too small for the tank. I believe I have never had a Marineland product before, and am generally impressed.

"Great Pump."Also, added Value Pack-- Bonded Blue& White Poly Filter Pad Floss 600-square-inches. The Aquatop seem and the flow feels more powerful. I removed the old pump from my Protein Skimmer and put this one in place. Second pic was taken 10 days later. Once I put this filter in I saw results in 2 days and better results by day 5. I tried weekly 40% water changes, API Clear, and the algae just got worse. Pretty much a no brainer there if they offer it.

Its pump apparentely was too small for the tank. There are two pieces of wood among the rocks. This had turned my tank from a black algae mess to Crystal clear. It replaced a Quiet1One 9000 pump which was nothing but trouble since I installed it. It was a great relief and manage to order this item at amazon. The unit is larger than I expected. "Saved me a bundle!"I would've spent more on just an air pump and stone than I did for this. The flow rate is perfect, and they fit well inside my cubes sump. If you have turtles and want to circulate the air around this is for you! The COODIA UV filter is behind the big rose quartz on the left. I tried weekly 40% water changes, API Clear, and the algae just got worse. The water is clearer than I've ever seen it. Anyways, I usually turn it on before i go to bed and off during the day.

If you have a Biocube 29 HQI, this is a great choice at a reasonable price. The water is clearer than I've ever seen it. It replaced a Quiet1One 9000 pump which was nothing but trouble since I installed it. This new whisper quiet Eheim 1000 pump has solved all my water quality problems. I have the Eheim 3000 also and both pumps are well worth the money!
