"The pump fired right up."My aquarium is free of algae and is so clear and pristine. Best thing I've gotten for my tank in the year we’ve been fighting the algae issue. The water has cleared considerably, but it is still a tiny bit milky. With the amount of light I get I find it necessary to keep it on. Highly recommend as substitute tubing for your canister filters. Best thing I've gotten for my tank in the year we’ve been fighting the algae issue. It works, but you may want to get some type of adapter to address this.

"I'm a fan of Rio Pumps."Pretty much a no brainer there if they offer it. There are two pieces of wood among the rocks. Company is very responsive to any questions or concerns. Closing the shades and a massive water change could not hold it at bay. Not having a free flow intake is what burns electric pump motors out. So now we all understand; this thing is legit. Fit perfectly and has been working well.

"Good reliable product."I felt that was way to soon so I refused to purchase another from them. This is hooked up to work with my sponge filter in my 20High. I would've spent more on just an air pump and stone than I did for this. Sure one would work okay, but two are optimal and your fish will thank you for it. The flow rate is great for my 20 gallon. I made a highball last night with it. The black and white pic is the tight shot to show the setup.

"Still happy."General and super ich cures seemed to only kill my wallet and change water color. Once I put this filter in I saw results in 2 days and better results by day 5. Bought it to replace my stock water pumps for JBJ nanocube 28g. Very well-made product and fits on a filter I am using that is not from this company. Everything is still clear 4 days later. Also, some of the connecting pieces are a little loose fitting. Thanks for Prompt service and I dig this RIO pump, helps keep my tank nice and clean!

"Great Pump."I was skeptical because of the price, but this thing really is a game changer! I have high end pumps by Eheim and Danner for high flow applications. It was a great relief and manage to order this item at amazon. The unit is larger than I expected. The water is clear and fish are healthy. I would defiantly consider getting another. The Aquatop seem and the flow feels more powerful.

"Eheim is a great company!"Once I put this filter in I saw results in 2 days and better results by day 5. The best price by far from anything i could find online. There are all sorts of things you can do and setup's you can apply these pump's too. Replacement pump arrived quickly and my tank was up and running like it should. Closing the shades and a massive water change could not hold it at bay. I have high end pumps by Eheim and Danner for high flow applications. You need to replace this after cleaning the filter every so often.

"Love this spout."Not having a free flow intake is what burns electric pump motors out. The COODIA UV filter is behind the big rose quartz on the left. After two more days of running, I turned it off because of the current. Its pump apparentely was too small for the tank. Closing the shades and a massive water change could not hold it at bay. It's bulky and must be completely submerged so it's hard to miss in my tank. It works, it's not too expensive, and I'm happy.

I regularly test for nitrate, nitrite, total hardness, alkalinity, pH. The Aquatop seem and the flow feels more powerful. Great pump for CPR BakPak protein skimmer. Sure one would work okay, but two are optimal and your fish will thank you for it. This had turned my tank from a black algae mess to Crystal clear.

"Did the job perfectly."This causes it to rattle and stop turning altogether. I have a 29 gallon Oceanic Nanocube and have always had poor water circulation. It's totally silent, runs very cool, and is reliable so far. Closing the shades and a massive water change could not hold it at bay. I believe I have never had a Marineland product before, and am generally impressed. With the amount of light I get I find it necessary to keep it on. Would have loved it if the new black colored hose was available at the time.

I bought this to address an algae bloom. It's totally silent, runs very cool, and is reliable so far. A must for keeping ick at bay and snails and keeps you're water pretty too. It replaced a Quiet1One 9000 pump which was nothing but trouble since I installed it. Arrived soon enough, and packaged adequately. I had to harness the power of the Sun and dunk it into my tank but it worked.
