"Functions as described."Until my local shop told me to get Eheims. Adjusted flow output by half and my aquarium is now crystal clear. Also, some of the connecting pieces are a little loose fitting. It replaced a Quiet1One 9000 pump which was nothing but trouble since I installed it. It was a great relief and manage to order this item at amazon. The unit is larger than I expected. Fit my Eheim Double Tap Quick Release perfectly.

"Great pump."Company is very responsive to any questions or concerns. I felt that was way to soon so I refused to purchase another from them. A must for keeping ick at bay and snails and keeps you're water pretty too. I believe I have never had a Marineland product before, and am generally impressed. "Five Star to the Seller."The unit is larger than I expected. I wasn't sure it was even on when I plugged it in. Also, some of the connecting pieces are a little loose fitting. Easy to use, but has no instructions, at least mine didn't. General and super ich cures seemed to only kill my wallet and change water color. I had to take it out of the tank and pull off the cover to see if the light was on. I have not found the replacement bulbs available yet.

"Great on gas mileage."This UV sterilizer beat my expectations. I was happy to find the same barracuda pump at a reasonable price. They like lining up and swimming against it. The hose is high quality and hooked right up to my new Eheim setup. It replaced a Quiet1One 9000 pump which was nothing but trouble since I installed it. This is hooked up to work with my sponge filter in my 20High. I had to take it out of the tank and pull off the cover to see if the light was on.

"Highly recommend!"I took it out of the package and it was perfect. I took it out of the package and it was perfect. Just what I needed to fix my filter and avoid paying 200 bucks for a new one. The water is clearer than I've ever seen it. Would have loved it if the new black colored hose was available at the time. Until my local shop told me to get Eheims. It's bulky and must be completely submerged so it's hard to miss in my tank.

"A great product."This new whisper quiet Eheim 1000 pump has solved all my water quality problems. General and super ich cures seemed to only kill my wallet and change water color. I had to take it out of the tank and pull off the cover to see if the light was on. Love it, I have used it here and there for filling up my tanks easier. Anyways, I usually turn it on before i go to bed and off during the day. I came home to a bloom explosion and water that looked like kiwi sangria. Not a bad option for when you need an adjustment.

"No issues."I turned to Amazon, and sure enough, it was there. Eheim is one of the best filters out there. Third pic was taken 15 days after the first pic, 5 days after the second. The unit is silent as far as I can tell, unless you turn the bubbles on. Pretty much a no brainer there if they offer it. The Seller quickly replaced the Venturi pump for me. I took it out of the package and it was perfect.

I would defiantly consider getting another. My old Snapper needed to be cleaned and rebuilt after 6 years of constant use. It's totally silent, runs very cool, and is reliable so far. Closing the shades and a massive water change could not hold it at bay. I believe I have never had a Marineland product before, and am generally impressed. With the amount of light I get I find it necessary to keep it on. Would have loved it if the new black colored hose was available at the time.
