"It does the job."Has lasted a few years now without any problems. Love it, I have used it here and there for filling up my tanks easier. It drives a 5ft fluidized bed filter and CO2 reactor tower. Very well-made product and fits on a filter I am using that is not from this company. Also, some of the connecting pieces are a little loose fitting. Work well till the pump itself died. This filter worked exactly as it should. I have high end pumps by Eheim and Danner for high flow applications.

"Very easy to install."Work well till the pump itself died. I came home to a bloom explosion and water that looked like kiwi sangria. The water has cleared considerably, but it is still a tiny bit milky. My old Snapper needed to be cleaned and rebuilt after 6 years of constant use. Only other issue I have is how stiff the tubing is. So now we all understand; this thing is legit. Replacing my 15 yr old aquarium hoses due to old one hardening.

"Flow is great!"Very nice pump for my Phosphate reactor. Once I put this filter in I saw results in 2 days and better results by day 5. German reputation for quality still lives on. The Aquatop seem and the flow feels more powerful. I was skeptical because of the price, but this thing really is a game changer! It also couldn't be easier to install. I have the Eheim 3000 also and both pumps are well worth the money!

Its pump apparentely was too small for the tank. I purchased this replacement since my RIO HF8 died just after 3 years. After two more days of running, I turned it off because of the current. I deducted one star for the price, but you certainly can't fault the quality.

"THANK YOU!"It's bulky and must be completely submerged so it's hard to miss in my tank. Sure one would work okay, but two are optimal and your fish will thank you for it. Eheim has always been a dependable product. Love it, I have used it here and there for filling up my tanks easier. They like lining up and swimming against it. Not having a free flow intake is what burns electric pump motors out. I believe I have never had a Marineland product before, and am generally impressed.

This new whisper quiet Eheim 1000 pump has solved all my water quality problems. Another few days and a surface wipe down and I suspect I'll have crystal clear water. The flow rate is perfect, and they fit well inside my cubes sump. The unit is silent as far as I can tell, unless you turn the bubbles on. Plugged it in and all was right with this piece of my world.
