Put it back in the aquarium and has been quiet ever since. I really like this pump, although I would have liked a little more flow. I recommend this small, very economical pump! At least 50% less than big box store's price. This one works perfectly and customer service is superb. The amazon Review template asked me about this products'sheerness. The only reason I couldn't give the pump 5 stars is that it does generate some heat.

Packaged well and it appears to be a well designed pump. This little fountain helps reduce stress during the day. This little fountain helps reduce stress during the day. Could work for a cat fountain, or small to medium aquarium fountain. HOSE THE YOU WILL HAVE MORE PREASURE. No problem at all lifting water as shown in photo. When the feed buttom is pressed my unit sends a loud alarm. Keep that in mind when running through a similar setup. Will empty 75 gallons of mixed water to my 300 gallon aquarium in about 5 minutes. May 2020; Just received this and so far am really happy. And moves a lot of water,if needed! Works very good and it's very quite hardly makes a noise. THEN THERE WAS A 5 GALLON PAIL OF SUBTRATE.

I use it for water changes in my aquarium. The video shows the pump at full throttle and can be adjusted lower. Absolutely silent, and has 4 little silicone suction cup feet to isolate vibration. I recommend this small, very economical pump! I'd compare it to the new Hydors with the controllers. Unfortunately somehow, storing it over last winter, the plug has gone missing. Quiet and flows well for a pump that is only a couple inches in size.

I upgraded to a stronger one and it got broken at the bottom while being shipped. It's so quiet I don't even hear anything besides the overflow now! Some of my orchids do not do well when the relative humidity drops below 30%. I will be replacing it with a 1375 GPH pump. IT WILL PUMP 400 GPH WITH A ONE INCH NIPPLE. Other than that the pump works great. But i am very unhappy with the alarm as is everyone in my house. Make sure it's fully submerged, to protect the motor; OURS WORKS GREAT! Great flow that is easily adjustable. The only reason I couldn't give the pump 5 stars is that it does generate some heat. That was barely within the pump's capability. I cut one end off old garden hose and it fit perfectly on end of pump. Put it back in the aquarium and has been quiet ever since. By the time were ready to pump the water back in, salt is completely mixed. Best emergency replacent I've bought for my 75gallon reef tank!
