I'd compare it to the new Hydors with the controllers. This pump works great for my sugar kettle fountain. Quiet and flows well for a pump that is only a couple inches in size. When the feed buttom is pressed my unit sends a loud alarm. BUT IF YOU NEED MORE LIFT JUST USE A SMALLER I. I'd compare it to the new Hydors with the controllers. The seller had a new one out to me the same day and I got it in 2 days!

"Completely silent too."

Absolutely silent, and has 4 little silicone suction cup feet to isolate vibration. This is the perfect pump for a small tabletop bubbling fountain. Quiet while running and great suction. I am very pleased after a week of it running constantly. So far, I think I got a LOT of bang for my buck with this little pump. Mine can pump 30 gallons in about a minute and a half. I do encourage the purchase of these pumps.

I upgraded to a stronger one and it got broken at the bottom while being shipped. It's so quiet I don't even hear anything besides the overflow now! Some of my orchids do not do well when the relative humidity drops below 30%. I will be replacing it with a 1375 GPH pump. IT WILL PUMP 400 GPH WITH A ONE INCH NIPPLE. What everyone says about the silicone tubing being kinked up is true. JUST CARRING THREE GALL OF WATER WHERES ME OUT.

I wound up buying a less exspensive, simpler one. The only reason I couldn't give the pump 5 stars is that it does generate some heat. I BOUGHT THIS THIS STYLE PUMP BECAUSE WITH MY C. The amazon Review template asked me about this products'sheerness. Quiet while running and great suction. Will empty 75 gallons of mixed water to my 300 gallon aquarium in about 5 minutes. Mine is powerful others not so powerful, i guess.

By the time were ready to pump the water back in, salt is completely mixed. I ordered this pump for some minor jobs unrelated to the basement. Ended up removing pump from aquarium after 3 days of relentless noise. This little fountain helps reduce stress during the day. Note that the barb adapter sizes are different depending on the pump model. Mine is powerful others not so powerful, i guess. The physical size is great, and the pump itself is very quiet.

This little fountain helps reduce stress during the day. I've been using mine now for over three months and it is working beautifully. Performing water changes was messy and hard on the joints. I have over 17 tanks so water changes take forever with python or buckets. I have never had any issues with them. The smaller waterfalls are run by another one of these on a split line. Eventually, I had the hose squirting water on the inside of the right pane of glass.

I changed to a 65GPH pump with good results. It works extremely well and is very nice to have. Just had to move a few plants and bricks to prevent accumulation points. I have never had any issues with them. Make sure it's fully submerged, to protect the motor; OURS WORKS GREAT! Can min the flow for cat fountain or med. There was still to much water flow.

This runs 15 hrs per day for about 4 months. Quiet while running and great suction. HOSE THE YOU WILL HAVE MORE PREASURE. It is a definite asset to the outdoor space.

Moves a lot of water, which is what I was looking for. These are bags you put carbon in for filters. I just got finished setting this bad boy up and I have to say I'm highly impressed. Pump works fine, but I definitely over bought. One of the best purchases I've ever! Great little pump for small aquariums and waterfalls.
