So, I converted a used aquarium into an orchidarium. Both from the tank to the bucket, and from the bucket to the tank. Based upon comments the motor is prolly not consistently manufactured. I have over 17 tanks so water changes take forever with python or buckets. Great for mixing my saltwater and transfer to my display tank 30 feet away. I have an older room air conditioner that vents out of the window. These are bags you put carbon in for filters.

It does NOT come with an electric switch. This is the perfect pump for a small tabletop bubbling fountain. Put it back in the aquarium and has been quiet ever since. No more trying to lift a 5ga bucket full of water! I will be ordering another one to have on-hand in case this one fails next season. Any pump will clog unless the fountain is kept clean. Other than that the pump works great. But i am very unhappy with the alarm as is everyone in my house. Make sure it's fully submerged, to protect the motor; OURS WORKS GREAT! What everyone says about the silicone tubing being kinked up is true. I got two of these pumps for a DIY tabletop fountains. And their customer service is great. It's very quick, and does an excellent job. Saves having to carry buckets of water around. The water is crystal clear and the bottom completely clean by morning! I got two of these pumps for a DIY tabletop fountains. Performing water changes was messy and hard on the joints. The suction cups on the bottom of the pump held it nice and secure. Great flow that is easily adjustable. Would highly recommend if you need to move large volumes of water quickly. The water is crystal clear and the bottom completely clean by morning! 5' in max setting but slowed down any higher than that.

Great flow that is easily adjustable. The only reason I couldn't give the pump 5 stars is that it does generate some heat. That was barely within the pump's capability. I cut one end off old garden hose and it fit perfectly on end of pump. Put it back in the aquarium and has been quiet ever since. By the time were ready to pump the water back in, salt is completely mixed. Best emergency replacent I've bought for my 75gallon reef tank!

JUST CARRING THREE GALL OF WATER WHERES ME OUT. I am using one of these pumps on a corner matten sponge filter for a little nano 5. This runs 15 hrs per day for about 4 months. This little fountain helps reduce stress during the day. Will empty 75 gallons of mixed water to my 300 gallon aquarium in about 5 minutes. I am using one of these pumps on a corner matten sponge filter for a little nano 5. So, I converted a used aquarium into an orchidarium. There was still to much water flow. Overall I was surprised how light it is, maybe 2-3 lbs. Quiet and flows well for a pump that is only a couple inches in size. This pump is the perfect size for performing frequent water changes. Replies quickly and resolved issues quickly!
