I ordered this pump to keep the filtered water for my plants aerated. I will be replacing it with a 1375 GPH pump. Great little pump for small aquariums and waterfalls. The amazon Review template asked me about this products'sheerness. The effluent connector exits on the top and is pointed up. I got two of these pumps for a DIY tabletop fountains. At least 50% less than big box store's price.

"Powerful pump."

This runs 15 hrs per day for about 4 months. Ended up removing pump from aquarium after 3 days of relentless noise. It's very quick, and does an excellent job. Absolutely silent, and has 4 little silicone suction cup feet to isolate vibration. No problem at all lifting water as shown in photo. The only reason I couldn't give the pump 5 stars is that it does generate some heat. 5' in max setting but slowed down any higher than that.

I keep the water stored in a 5 gal bucket and this pump is perfect for the size. No more back breaking effort with 5 gallon bucks. The pump is adjustable from 30-100%, has convenient feed option. The water refill only takes a couple minutes. I use it for water changes in my aquarium. But i am very unhappy with the alarm as is everyone in my house. I'd compare it to the new Hydors with the controllers.

Plugged it in and gave it a couple of seconds. Pump works fine, but I definitely over bought. The effluent connector exits on the top and is pointed up. Quiet while running and great suction. What everyone says about the silicone tubing being kinked up is true. These are bags you put carbon in for filters. We start mixing when we begin the water change.

But i am very unhappy with the alarm as is everyone in my house. And moves a lot of water,if needed! Based upon comments the motor is prolly not consistently manufactured. The design feels solid and the suction cups hold well. THEN THERE WAS A 5 GALLON PAIL OF SUBTRATE. I did need to run it flat out on volume for my fountain at that height. This runs 15 hrs per day for about 4 months.

It raised the temperature of my water by about 10°. The physical size is great, and the pump itself is very quiet. This first one was a little taller and worked perfectly. Use a T at the suction top with a threaded plug to prime at startup. I'd compare it to the new Hydors with the controllers. It raised the temperature of my water by about 10°. This pump will mix 30-50 gallons of salt water in about 20-30 minutes.

We start mixing when we begin the water change. It's powerful but quiet which I love. I have purchased several of their products and I've never had any issues. Great for mixing my saltwater and transfer to my display tank 30 feet away. That was barely within the pump's capability. I recommend this small, very economical pump! JUST CARRING THREE GALL OF WATER WHERES ME OUT. I am using one of these pumps on a corner matten sponge filter for a little nano 5. This runs 15 hrs per day for about 4 months. This little fountain helps reduce stress during the day. Will empty 75 gallons of mixed water to my 300 gallon aquarium in about 5 minutes. The physical size is great, and the pump itself is very quiet. The water movement helps attract them.

Enough power for two tubes, good water flow. So far, I think I got a LOT of bang for my buck with this little pump. Love the ability to control the flow. 5' in max setting but slowed down any higher than that. Quiet and flows well for a pump that is only a couple inches in size. Using right now for my indoor pond for my koi until the one outside is finished. Other than that the pump works great.
